After a poor game last weekend against Fremantle, Geelong will be hoping to find some form back on their home turf.

The Cats still remain perched on top of the ladder, however, the recent slump over the last three weeks has certainly added a little more pressure on coach Chris Scott and his playing group.

On Saturday night they need to prove that they can be a real threat in finals, because at the moment they’re not playing like a top-four side.

On the other hand, North will be looking to prove that last week’s win wasn’t just pure emotion for Rhyce Shaw’s first official game as head coach. The Kangaroos will be attempting to finish the season on a high note in these last three weeks.

North’s tall forward Ben Brown will also be looking to hit the score board – the big man trails Jeremy Cameron by five goals in the Coleman.

The last time these two teams faced off against each other was in round eight at Marvel Stadium where Geelong were victorious by 24 points.

Geelong will welcome back Harry Taylor, Brandan Parfitt, Luke Dahlhaus and Quinton Narkle who are in for Jordan Clarke who unfortunately got injured at training during the week, Scott Selwood (omitted), Lachie Henderson (omitted) and Gary Rohan (injured).

The Roos welcome back Jed Anderson and Shaun Atley who are in for Luke Davies-Uniacke (injured) and Sam Durdin (omitted).

Prediction
Geelong return to their home deck where they can be dangerous as they know how to play the ground. They’ll also be looking to find some form heading into finals.

Geelong Cats by 24 points.
