The Richmond Tigers have defeated the Melbourne Demons by 33 points on a wet night at the MCG.
When the wet weather rolled in, the Tigers had the superior game style and role players to get the job done. Five-goal win in the end for Richmond, including three for Lynch and two for Graham.
Bayley Fritsch scored three goals, Lewis and Dunkley two each. Dustin Martin had 34 disposals and kicked a goal, while Houli picked up 34 and was good off the half-back line.
Max Gawn had 26 hitouts, but the second half was well-controlled by an all-round performance from Richmond’s full team.

Melbourne lost by 19-points to St Kilda last Saturday night at Marvel Stadium.
The Dees led early in the fourth term but were overran with the Saints kicking the last three goals, another disappointing low in a tough season for Simon Goodwin’s troupes.
Richmond, meanwhile, moved above Collingwood with a 32-point victory over the Pies last Friday night.
Tom Lynch booted five goals and Dustin Marin had 38 disposals and two goals, as the Tigers showed they will be a big threat this September.
Melbourne have made four changes off the back of the loss to St Kilda.
Neville Jetta (knee) and Tim Smith (foot) have been forced out with injury, while Alex Neal-Bullen and Josh Wagner have been omitted.
Neville Jetta has been ruled out for the rest of 2019, joining Sam Weideman, Jeff Garlett and others on the sidelines.
Kyle Dunkley, Jay Kennedy Harris, Jake Melksham and Braydon Preuss have been recalled to the AFL side.
Melksham will return from a foot injury suffered against Gold Coast in round eight, while Braydon Preuss also comes in for the round 20 clash.
Richmond have been forced to make two changes.
Sydney Stack (calf soreness) and Trent Cotchin (hamstring) will miss the match through injury.
Cotchin is expected to miss two to three games.
Josh Caddy and Dan Butler have been recalled to the senior side.
Caddy missed VFL action through an ankle injury, however had been performing at that level.
Butler has been elevated for impressive performances at VFL level since his demotion in round 14.
The last time these two teams played was in round six on Anzac Day Eve. Richmond downed Melbourne by 43 points, a big statement considering the Tigers’ injury problems and the Demons form falling to 1-5.
Tom Lynch will play his 150th AFL game this weekend. Moving home from the Gold Coast for a seven-year contract with the Tigers, Lynch has found form alongside Jack Riewoldt in the forward line and has kicked 45 goals so far this year.
Prediction
Richmond are on a roll, they’ve won five in-a-row since the bye and will look to continue this run against the Demons.
An opportunity to boost percentage awaits the Tigers.
