Show Preview

Both the Port Adelaide Power and Sydney Swans are looking to reignite their respective pushes for the top four. Stay up to date with the action on The Roar with live scores from 4:35pm (AEST).

Port got themselves back on the winners’ list before the bye with a 50-point trouncing of the Suns, but it’s their well-documented inability to knock off the top teams that still has everyone talking. The Swans are seen as the weakest of the current top eight sides, so there simply cannot be any excuse for the Power to not emerge from this contest as decisive victors.

Sydney’s bright start to the season took an almighty whack before the bye after they were embarrassed on their home deck by lowly Hawthorn. The manner in which the Swans were outhunted around the ground would’ve been concerning for John Longmire, as he looks to keep his young charges fresh over the last portion of the home-and-away season.

Port Adelaide have won their last four matches against the Swans, which is their longest winning streak in this head-to-head.
