Show Preview

Both the Port Adelaide Power and the Western Bulldogs will be keen to finish their pre-season on a high as they head to the coastal South Australian town of Whyalla for their Marsh Community Series match. Join The Roar for live scores from 4:10pm (AEDT).

The Power are just about at full strength for this match, with only vice-captain Ollie Wines and former Demon Jack Watts absent through injury, in a positive sign for Round 1.

Number one ruckman Scott Lycett returns after missing their first pre-season match against Melbourne, while star forward Robbie Gray also comes in for his first official match of 2020, after missing both the Power’s clash with the Demons and withdrawing from the AFL’s State of Origin match.

The Bulldogs are likewise at near full strength, with forward Josh Bruce to play his first game in red, white and blue, after crossing from St Kilda during the 2019 trade period.

Captain Marcus Bontempelli was simply too good in the Dogs’ first Marsh Community Series match against North Melbourne two weeks ago. Finishing with 37 touches and 2 goals, ‘the Bont’ will be keen to keep his outstanding form going heading into Round 1 of the season proper.
