Show Preview

The 2020 Grand Final rematch comes to the MCG as the Richmond Tigers battle the Geelong Cats. Keep an eye on live scores right here at The Roar from 7:50pm (AEST).

After last week’s comeback 22-point win over the red-hot Western Bulldogs, the only question is whether the Tigers are back, or if they never left.

The reigning champs will welcome back last year’s Norm Smith Medallist Dustin Martin to take on the Cats, though skipper Trent Cotchin (hamstring) and star defender Dylan Grimes (concussion) will miss.

The Tigers took down the Cats in a final in each of their three premiership seasons, and have claimed six of the past seven matches between the two teams.

Chris Scott’s men remain a tipster’s nightmare in 2021, following up their stunning demolition of the Eagles with a thrilling 2-point loss to Sydney in Round 7.

Despite the defeat, the Cats dominated almost every statistical category, and will be confident that they remain a team capable of challenging for the top four. However, they will need to be far more accurate against the Tigers, having booted a match-losing 12.16 against the Swans.
