This is a big game for both sides. Neither will want to lose it, as it could have huge ramifications in regards to achieving the objective that both Damien Hardwick and Ken Hinkley set their sides at the beginning of pre-season.

For Hardwick’s side, they have hit form at the right time. After 16 rounds, they have accumulated 10 wins, which is quite an effort considering the injuries they have had to deal with over the course of the season.

Finishing within the top four is certainly not impossible for Richmond, especially when you consider their run home.

The Tigers are coming off a convincing 27-point victory over the GWS Giants, which took place at the Melbourne Cricket Ground last week.

Bachar Houli was immense, which saw him finish with 30 disposals for the game. Tom Lynch and Kane Lambert were sharp in front of goal, as they both kicked three majors each.

In team news this week for the Tigers, Kamdyn McIntosh and Derek Eggmolesse-Smith have been omitted. Jack Graham and Liam Baker are the inclusions.

As for Hinkley’s side, it could be argued that they are the most bizarre team in the competition.

Port Adelaide’s best is very good, but their worst is borderline horrendous. After 16 rounds, the Power have secured eight victories.

There is no denying their best is very good, but the reality is, they do not bring their best consistently.

The Port Adelaide faithful were disgusted in what their side dished up against the Brisbane Lions at the Adelaide Oval last weekend.

The 48-point loss highlighted that despite all the good Hinkley’s side have produced this season, they are still some way off having a serious impact on the competition.

There were a few positives for Port Adelaide. Travis Boak, Robbie Gray, Ollie Wines and Darcy Byrne-Jones all accumulated 30 or more disposals. Sam Gray booted two majors, also.

In team news this week for the Power, Ryan Burton, Brad Ebert and Wines all make way due to injury. Matthew Broadbent, Xavier Duursma and Dan Houston are the inclusions.

Prediction
The Tigers have hit some consistent form, and no one has a clue what the Power will dish up. Also, with the game being at the ‘G, Richmond should get the job done.

The Tigers by 19 points.
