Nic Naitanui makes his long-awaited return from a knee injury as he tries to help his West Coast cause a major upset against Richmond at the mighty MCG. Join The Roar for live scores and commentary from 2:10pm (AEST).

The star ruckman joins a number of Eagles stars having returned from long layoffs in recent weeks, as the club’s nightmare run with injury and COVID at the start of the year starts to look behind them.

Rejuvenated, the Eagles broke their ten-match losing streak last week against Essendon, bringing to an end the worst run in the team’s long history. However, five-goal hero Josh Kennedy has been managed out of this trip to Melbourne, making the task more difficult.

The Tigers have injury issues of their own, with star midfielder Dion Prestia to miss with concussion following the ugly incident with Geelong’s Tom Stewart last week. Triple-premiership forward Jason Castagna has been recalled after a stint in the VFL due to poor senior form.

St Kilda’s win over Carlton on Friday night tipped the Tigers out of the eight, but it also provides an opportunity: win today, and they’ll leapfrog both the Saints and Blues on the ladder, as well as banking four valuable premiership points in a tight race to September.
