Show Preview

The St Kilda Saints and Carlton Blues face off at Marvel Stadium on Sunday afternoon. Join The Roar from 3:20pm (AEST) for live scores and coverage.

The Saints showed a bit of promise last weekend, sticking with Collingwood for much of the match before The Pies ultimately kicked on in the last to win by 41 points.

Carlton, meanwhile, were undone by The Giants in Western Sydney, losing by 93 points.

Form wise, both teams come in having lost their last four matches. This match then, will be the best chance for a while for either side to break their streaks.

St. Kilda make one change to their team from last week. Ben Paton is “managed”, with Ben Long coming in for him.

Carlton will have to be without Marc Murphy following his rib injury last week. Along with Murphy, Harrison Macreadie, Lochie O’Brien and Will Setterfield have all been omitted.

In their places are Kade Simpson, Lachie Plowman, David Cuningham and Matthew Kennedy.

Either side could win this, and it should be close throughout but Saints to edge it.

St. Kilda by 12.
