The St Kilda Saints desperately need a rebound, but they’ll have a tough time of it against the West Coast Eagles at Marvel Stadium. Stay up to date with their AFL clash with live scores on The Roar from 4:35pm (AEST).

They were the darlings of the competition last year with their run to the semi-finals, but the Saints have started 2021 in shocking form. They got off the mark with a narrow win over GWS to start, but were outclassed by Melbourne in their next game before getting bulldozed to the tune of 75 points by a then-winless Essendon side last week. Their injury list has been cruel, but Brett Ratten’s charges look a shadow of the club they were last year.

West Coast, on the other hand, continue to hum along and are emerging once more as a genuine contender. They were a bit rusty in the first fortnight; needing all four quarters to see off the Suns before going down to the Bulldogs in a classic, but turned it on at home last Saturday night to blow away Port Adelaide and announce themselves as one of the teams to beat.

The Eagles got up by 15 points when these sides clashed in the final home-and-away round of last season, their third win in a row over St Kilda and 11th from the last 12 meetings.
