Both the Sydney Swans and Adelaide Crowss will look to back up stunning upsets they pulled off last week when they meet at the SCG. Stay up to date with their AFL clash with live scores on The Roar from 1:45pm (AEDT).

The Swans, fielding three debutants in an already young team, were given little chance of causing Brisbane trouble last Saturday night. Instead, they ran rings around their heavily-favoured opponents to come out 31-point victors. All three first-gamers – Logan McDonald, Errol Gulden and Braeden Campbell – shone, and now they welcome back Lance Franklin for his first game since the end of 2019.

Coming off the first wooden spoon in club history, Adelaide were written off by all ahead of their match with Geelong but also sprang an almighty upset to win by 12 points. The Crows were ferocious in the first half and kept the highly-fancied Cats on the back foot, before surviving a second-half fightback to preserve a stirring season-opening win.

The Swans got up by three points in a thriller when these sides met last year. The last four meetings between these sides have gone to the away team, with Adelaide having not last at the SCG since 2016. The Crows are one of a handful of teams to boast a positive win-loss record at the SCG at 13-7.
