Fans will be back at Optus Stadium for the first time in a month when the West Coast Eagles host the Adelaide Crows on Sunday afternoon. Stay up to date with all the action from Optus Stadium with live scores on The Roar from 4:40pm (AEST).

Eagles fans will welcome the chance to cheer on their side for the first time since Round 4, after a COVID-19 scare saw their home Western Derby played behind closed doors a fortnight ago.

Despite some disappointing losses, the Eagles sit seventh with a 5-3 record, and will fancy their chances of knocking off the Crows at their home fortress.

The gloss has well and truly come off for Matthew Nicks after the Crows’ bright start to 2021. They have now lost four in a row to slump to 14th, last week’s 49-point loss to crosstown rivals Port Adelaide leading to a miserable week at West Lakes.

Making matters worse, star goalkicker Taylor Walker has been rested from the trip rest. Having kicked 27 goals for the season to sit second in the Coleman Medal, the Crows will have to find a way to impact the scoreboard without big Tex leading from the front.
