The West Coast Eagles welcome back a host of key names in a bid to turn their hideous season around… but can they make a difference against the travelling Geelong? Join The Roar for live scores and rolling coverage from 4:35pm (AEST).

It’s been a horrific season for the Eagles: ravaged by COVID, injuries and form woes, they have won just one game and have a percentage just over 50. It’s a historic low for a proud club.

This week, though, hope has been kindled for a stronger end to the year, with first-choice players Dom Sheed, Elliot Yeo, Jeremy McGovern and Willie Rioli among a whopping seven changes. Alongside that foursome, youngster Rhett Bazzo has been named for his debut.

The Cats remain on track for yet another top-four finish, and know nothing less than a comfortable victory here would risk them losing pace with that pack.

Tom Stewart has overcome a concussion suffered against the Western Bulldogs prior to last week’s bye and will play, while Sam Menegola returns for his first game of the season after a series of setbacks. Brandan Parfitt’s broken hand sees him miss, and an ill Gary Rohan has also failed to make the trip west.
