Not wanting to be the first to lose to a winless Adelaide Crows, the Western Bulldogs will be looking for another victory at Metricon Stadium today. Join The Roar for live scores from 1:05pm (AEST).

The Western Bulldogs are in trouble. Forever an inconsistent side, they have lost three successive games, all against finals contenders (Brisbane, Port Adelaide and Richmond).

With all but one of their defeats coming over four goals or more this year, the Bulldogs tend to lose big. They have garnered two wins from their last five clashes, over the Suns and Essendon, but have slipped four points out of the eight. That equation makes this a genuine must-win clash.

Fortunately for Luke Beveridge, his side will start heavy favourites over Adelaide – who have not won at any venue, against any opposition this year. They had produced some brighter form against recent opponents – leading at half time against Collingwood, pushing Essendon to the end of the game, decent in patches against North and Melbourne – but the Crows remain a bad football side with not a lot of light at the end of the tunnel.

Adelaide obviously have no wins to show at any venue, but they have tended to perform better at home than interstate this year. The Bulldogs have split the points in their four games at Carrara this season, securing two wins and just as many losses.
