Dane Rampe was at the centre of two strange incidents in Sydney’s win over Essendon at the SCG including a disparaging comment to an umpire and his decision to climb the post before the final kick of the game.
UPDATE: He’s now been fined for both incidents

This was such as great mark!! But, for Vardy and Rioli to taunt Gawn while he was clearly hurt is a really, really bad look for the AFL. Some years ago the AFL fined a player for bumping an injured player. This pair should received a suspension, this is a much worse look and poorer sportsmanship than the Rampe incident the week before. If your not sure ask yourself if it was your son on the ground is that how you would want him treated even before he was assessed by a trainer? I should be raving about the mark and I am talking about those two fools.
