Is Ben Brown in strife for this Ablett-style high elbow?

Nobody noticed at the time, however.

Would love to see that.Security guards jump the fence and throw out a player for a stray elbow or fist.

Whether you think elbows are punishable or not, the precedent has been set for at least the rest of this season. High elbow but no injury and in the passage of play = no case to answer. Ablett got nothing, neither should anyone else.

Brown has to go for at least one week if not two. I have watched the replay multiple times and he raised his forearm in a premeditated manner really unacceptable and he was fortunate that there was no serious injury. If fans can get ejected for calling an umpire a bald headed flog then striking someone with a raised forearm must be significantly worse and deserves ejection. Time will tell if the AFL has any spine on this issue? By no means do i think Brown is a dirty player but he had an "out of brain" experience and needs to receive a penalty that includes a suspension.
