That is where those who point to the past are missing some of the picture If you did this pinching crap you would probably get ironed out and the bigger might not even be seen. If seen, may get a week. So a big deterrent to do this crap. Now, anyone responding will get 4-6 weeks for an intentional strike So the AFL really have no choice to make it a 2 week offence, to stamp out the pinching etc

As dippa said if someone pinched him only one way to stop that. Just biff him. Won't do it again.

Yeah agree no place in the game for pinching but what is far more disturbing is that its okay to lead with a forearm to a players head like Brown did yesterday. What sort of message is this? It had insufficient force and therefore its okay? Will Christian at least have the backbone to visit the player(s) who eventually have their jaws broken because of this inaction? Leading with a forearm to a players head/jaw is not acceptable at anytime irrespective of force!! I hope i am wrong but some poor kid will eventually obtain a serious injury due to Christian's preemptive inaction based on force.

Any umpire that condones that cowardly grub behaviour of pinching then the same grub stomped on a player then made rude gestures which is not surprising for Hawthorn culture particularly from their Captain. Stratton. Let the tribunal set out the standards of the AFL on player abuse and ring it loud and clear for all Hawthorn Players and the club.
