'Stitch up': Rodney Eade claims leaked audio of coaches box rant is 'doctored'
Former Western Bulldogs coach Rodney “Rocket” Eade has denied claims he is the main voice heard in a leaked audio clip that has gone viral on social media.
In what is a very 2019 situation, audio published to the Facebook page, “Nuffies on AFL Pages”, claims to give an insight into Eade’s coaches box during a Bulldogs clash with St Kilda in 2009.
The Bulldogs played the Saints three times for three defeats in 2009 including a seven-point preliminary final loss.
In the audio, assistant coaches regularly refer to “Rocket”, who is heard swearing repeatedly and bemoaning the work-rate of former Bulldogs ruckman Will Minson.
However, tweeting from his personal account for the first time since November 2018, Eade said the audio has been “doctored” saying parts of it are not him.

Eade also maintains he and Minson, who he once referred to as the “dumbest smart bloke” in the AFL, still have a good relationship.
