Richmond forward Tom Lynch has become a much-maligned figure in 2020, after a series of off-the-ball hits throughout the season.
But after being booed all night, the Tigers star might have just swung public opinion, with a classy gesture for a crying young Port Adelaide fan after the Tigers’ thrilling 6-point preliminary final win.
Making the act all the more touching was the fact that Lynch had only minutes before being drenched with “Bundy and Coke” by disgruntled Power supporters while trying to do an interview with Channel 7.
