WATCH: Pitch invaders add to a chaotic opening to the AFL grand final
It was hard to know where to turn in the opening quarter of the AFL grand final.
There were injuries to both teams and two pitch invaders tried for their five seconds of fame at the GABBA to keep security busy.
The moment happened in the last few minutes of the opening term.
There was so much drama going on that Channel Seven commentator Brian Taylor mistook a security guard as a third pitch invader.
Thankfully, we didn’t have a rugby league State of Origin moment from a few years ago and the idiots who ran on the ground didn’t affect the game.
