So, for the strength aspect I am projecting what their strength will be and I think it’s the line-backer group. Three of the four starting line-backers are new to the team (Foyesade Oluokun, Devin Lloyd and Travon Walker), and Josh Allen keeps getting better. If Lloyd and Walker live up to their draft capital, it will be a great group.
Weakness
As people know, when a team turns the ball over it makes it hard to win games. On top of that, if teams cannot create turnovers, it makes it hard to win games.
Jacksonville committed 29 turnovers last season, the fourth-most in the NFL and only forced nine turnovers, the least in the league. If the Jaguars can’t close the negative-20 gap between committed turnovers and forced turnovers, they will struggle to win games.

Player to watch
On top of 2022 first-round picks Travon Walker and Devin Lloyd, the Jaguars essentially have a third first-round pick to introduce. Running back Travis Etienne was picked at 25 in the 2021 NFL draft but missed the whole season with a foot injury.
He is a dynamic option out of the backfield, and considering his chemistry from playing with Trevor Lawrence at Clemson, I think he can make a big impact.
Who’s under pressure?
The Jaguars raised eyebrows during free agency, signing former Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Christian Kirk to a four-year, $84 million contract.
Kirk improved his production in the absence of DeAndre Hopkins late last season but has never had a 1000-yard season in his four years in the NFL. He has reset the wide receiver market across the league, but the Jaguars will be expecting big things from their $84 million man.

Projection
It’s fair to say the Jaguars splashed cash over the off-season and are looking to improve rapidly but their schedule is absolutely brutal. They have to go against the might of the AFC West, the Colts and Titans, twice and some meetings with other very good teams.
While I think they will improve and I can’t wait to watch Trevor Lawrence in year 2, I have got them finishing with another poor record. I low key hope they prove me wrong.
