College Footballer inexplicably drops the ball just metres away from the end zone

Who would ever want to be a coach, when players do things like this.

New Mexico running back Bryson Carroll initially appeared to have ran 57-yards for a barnstorming touchdown in his side’s loss to the Colorado State Rams.

The touchdown was awarded on the field but a review saw the running back’s effort taken away after he was found on replays to have, incredibly, dropped the ball just metres away from the end zone.

While the play caused some embarrassment for Carroll, he would make amends with the next play, barging his way through to the end zone.

But we can’t imagine his teammates will be letting him forget about the blunder anytime soon!
