Because it’s a blatant disregard of the rules. I have family who are vaccinated and still can’t get into their home state, let alone travel from another country and demand entry when unvaccinated.

In defence of Djokovic: Australians have never given Novak the respect he deserves

Sorry, this has absolutely nothing to do with his on court achievements it has to do with the simple fact Djokovic didn’t follow the rules. It is a blatant disregard for the rules to enter this country, whether you agree with them or not.
It is a blatant disrespect to the many thousands of Australians who haven’t been able to get back to this country or even their own state.
This guy even boasted on social media that he was getting in via a loophole.
Sorry, this has absolutely nothing to do with his past, the fact he’s won a lot of grand slams should mean exactly diddly squat.
If you won’t follow the immigration rules then you rightly should be refused entry, no matter who you are.
Glad the feds stepped in and stopped him from getting a ridiculous exemption.

Not sure what role the Victorian Government have played in this too. If they’ve approved Djokovic only for the feds to come over the top it just further shows the confusion and blurred lines between the two.
Tiley and TA look like complete amateurs here.

'They crucified Jesus and now they're trying to crucify Novak': Tennis dad's astonishing attack on Australia

Wow, just wow, I’d expect this sort of comment on Facebook but not here. It’s pretty obvious why you need to be vaccinated to enter the country.

Yeah nah, I’m no Morrison fanboy at all but this isn’t his doing at all, it’s all Novak’s (and Tennis Australia a bit as well). The rules clearly state that he can’t enter Australia without being vaxxed but for some reason he thought he was above the rules, got Tennis Australia (not the federal government btw) to give him an exemption for a reason which isn’t acceptable according to the feds.
Morrison is just (for once) actually doing his job.

Strongly disagree, what Green adds to the side with the ball far outweighs his average performances with the bat this series. He brings an extra dimension to the attack that can’t be understated. Let him find his feet at 6 or 7.
Harris should make way for Khawaja in Hobart not Green.

Future star or not, this is why Cameron Green should be dropped for Hobart Test

For me it would be Inglis as his replacement and Smith to take the captaincy.
I suspect it’ll be Cummins as the new Captain and Carey as wk.

'Deeply sorry for the hurt and pain': Tearful Tim Paine resigns as Test captain over sexting scandal

Had to be Jono Wells to be honest… the only one who was batting at 5 or 6 in the BBL that had consistent runs on the board.

Glenn Maxwell's injury exposes Australia's dearth of middle-order batsmen

As a Freo fan id bite your hand off for that deal! Only issue I think is that Hill would rather get 900k from St Kilda.

AFL Trade News: Demons get their wings

Can tell you Langdon is far from an elite kick, extremely ordinary disposal by foot. There is a reason Freo were much happier to let him go than they are with Hill.

Agree on this. I hope we go to the draft. Kelly seems set on West Coast as they are in a premiership window and good luck to him, we missed our chance 2 years ago to sign him for nothing.
Liam Henry and Robertson would be great early selections and then Ben Sokol and Jye Bolton late.

Fremantle appoint Justin Longmuir as next senior coach

There was a poll amongst members and over 80% agreed with the decision. Members pay there hard earned money to the club, it’s fair to say they are true fans.
I’m yet to meet one Freo member that disagreed with sacking Ross.

Fremantle appoint Justin Longmuir as next senior coach

We have the stronger hand but he seems desperate to get to West Coast. I suspect they will work out a deal, probably West Coast will need to get there hands on an earlier pick plus trade some future picks to make it happen.

We aren’t getting Kelly, I just can’t see it happening.
My hope for Freo this time round is that we go to the draft with a strong hand. If we have to lose B Hill get a real early pick for him and then have picks 6, 7 and match a bid for an academy selection for Liam Henry. Pick up WA boys and maybe with our later picks mature age WAFL guys like Ben Sokol or Jye Bolton.

Nothing wrong with promoting effort and structure, most coaches do as will Longmuir.
What Lyon didn’t do was promote skill development as much as he should have. You mention Richmond, there ball movement by hand is far cleaner and crisper than Freos and there foot skills are better. Yes they play a high pressure run and gun style but the skills are there.
Ross demanded a very taxing style of play but the skills of the young players he had at his disposal weren’t up to the task. Longmuir I’m sure will promote skill development this pre season.

Still going on about it Don. Bell, Alcock and the board spoke for the majority of the fan base, over 80% of members supported the sacking! It had to be done. Football is a business and Lyon wasn’t up to the standards, nothing sentimental about it. He may be a fantastic bloke (although a few female staffers would suggest otherwise) but there was no room for sentimentality. Lyon had to go.
Bell, Alcock and the board have been nothing but professional since then.

Ross isn’t the best available and that will be proven when Adelaide also announce that there senior coach is not Ross Lyon. 4 other clubs also sacked there coaches this season and not one of them will appoint Ross as their senior coach, suggests to me he is well down the pecking order and his coaching style is well out of date, no club wants to touch him right now and rightly so.

Did you catch J-Lo’s presser Jonboy?
Spoke about the importance of improving skill development, something that was severely lacking under Lyon. Hopefully J-Lo will put a lot of work into foot skills over the pre season, it needs a fair bit of work.

Guerra is gone, I’d send Rock and Hale on their way as well, let Longmuir pick his assistants.

Bell just confirmed in Longmuirs presser he isn’t going for the CEO role. Brayshaw was mentioned, no response from Alcock but I don’t think he would want to take the role when his son is at the club.

Yeah the GF was a bit of a fizzer unless you were a Tigers fan so drinking was the order of the day/weekend.

Fremantle appoint Justin Longmuir as next senior coach

I can’t see us getting Tim, for mine he seems fully committed to West Coast. Only way I see us any chance is if negotiation with Geelong fall away and the Cats bring Freo into the picture as a bargaining tool.

Fremantle appoint Justin Longmuir as next senior coach

Bell should remain in his role as a football operations manager. He has done well leave him there.
Mark Brayshaw is being talked about for the CEO role so is James Clement.

Fremantle appoint Justin Longmuir as next senior coach

Yes be interesting to see what assistants he can get around him. Would like to see an experienced head helping him out as a senior assistant.
Webber has to go, has to be held accountable as well.

I will admit that whilst at first I didn’t mind the idea of Sumich coaching I always did prefer J-Lo. However, after Sumas comments about West Coast you did have to question whether he was the right man for the job and apparently he did absolutely butcher his interview, not sure how that got leaked but perhaps Suma did tell his 6pr mates about it?
Think we’ve dodged a bullet there. J-Lo will be great.
