Question:

With yellow cards, do the minutes past 40:00 count towards the 10mins? Eg. If you got carded at 32:00 and the half ended at 42:00, would you come on for the start of the next half? Or does it end at 40?

Argentina getting on a roll. Could this be the 3rd upset in as many days?

This game is shaping up very interestingly. A few brain fades (both yellow card receivers) and some good attack and defence on show from both teams.

Aren’t trips always just yellows? Professional foul

Not a great way to open your team’s tryscoring with a concussion.

Good roll on and try with 14 men.

On the home team stuff, I think there’s a coin flip to determine home rights for each game.

It seems like Nadolo kicks in slow motion the way he runs in and the way the ball glides

Crazy try

I actually am really confused as to what was the red card offence. I only remember a missed eye gouge as a talking point, and it wasn’t from a kiwi.

17 days to go: The Roar counts down to the Rugby World Cup

If everything was called, it would have been hard for France to win that final with only 14 men 😉

SPIRO: Watch out Wallabies, Fiji and England, here come Wales!

The current game plan revolves around big inside (Nonu/Fekitoa) and smaller outside (Crotty/Smith), but that doesn’t mean that they’ll stick with it. Once the world cup is over there’ll be big changes in the squad just from players retiring/going overseas etc.

Both Crotty and Fekitoa have played at 12 and 13 for the All Blacks. The selectors (whoever it’ll be after the world cup) are going to pick the combo that works best. Whether that’s Fekitoa-Crotty but Crotty-Fekitoa. We don’t know yet.

Don’t expect the players to be picked in positions because of a gameplan that’ll likely change for a new world cup cycle.

The All Blacks face a midfield conundrum

The new contract with Glasgow he signed said that he is off to Scotland, no matter if he’s capped for Aus or not.

It was the one with Edinburgh that had the release clause.

So I doubt he’ll be at the Tahs next year, unless he wants to bring down a huge amount of contract dispute/threats similar to what Cooper did. Though for TN’s case, I’m pretty sure he’s actually signed a contract. less sure with Cooper as no one has actually produced one for evidence.

England?

All Blacks squad to play in the Rugby World Cup announced

So because two players from 10 years ago selected a player, no one else is allowed to question the decision?

At the moment, they’re just another armchair expect judging on what happens in the game. Only Hansen an co. know what is happening behind the scenes. The rest of us are just guessing.

Those poor Marlins!

The Wrap: Bledisloe blame game misses the point

Another reason, is that the wallabies have played better with TK rather than AAC at 13 in recent years.

The Rugby Championship, now the Bledisloe

I reckon Australia’s was easiest based off of the previous years results/rankings. (so AB 1, SB 2, WB 3, PU 4)

Australia had the 2 hardest teams with home ground advantage, and the weakest team away.
South Africa had the strongest and weakest team at home, and the the 3rd team away.

ABs and Arg had 2 away games, so gonna say they had the hardest draws.

I think Australia’s was easier.
