While that’s true about SuperRugby Hog, it’s James constant need to denigrate anything Kiwi that’s the issue. Just have a look through his profile at all his anti-kiwi comments. Hey Peter, nice article, some good points made & questions asked. I’m not wanting DMac in the AB’s if all he is brining is X-Factor. Frankly, I think it’s over-rated. I’d like to see him mature & bring some game control & situational awareness. I’d like him to be a Cruden/Carter clone if possible. Not much needs to be said about Carter, but Crudes lacked in X-factor he made up for with calmness, control & ability to read the game. A huge reason he never lost a test he started.

Actually, I have “thought” about it…I’ve been a handful of situations with non disclosure agreements. Some with a couple of 100 people signing federal non disclosures, that are still current. One entire company I worked for is now totally folded. However, the agreements were personally binding for a certain time period (which coincidentally expires this year) so each individual is still held to secrecy. A bit more than your “few”. They’re more prevalent than you may realise. This situation is minor & the few people required to sign them the same. Guess we’ll have to disagree.

@ Danny McGowan, @ Jeff, in regards to the Razor’s assistants, there is absolutely nothing stopping Razor from approaching his preferred candidates with NZR issuing non-disclosure agreements to them as well. Surely not that difficult?! Wether the accept or not, they could be held to the agreement. I’ve had to sign multiple non- disclosures in my line of work. It’s a pretty simple solution, which you may have overlooked.

Hi Faith, while I agree with most of your comment, I still believe this announcement is disgraceful & a slap in the face to a long serving member of New Zealand Rugby (Fozzie). I never supported his appointment, reappointment & am critical of his decisions & results. But, no one can question his loyalty, his work ethic & love for the All Blacks. Surely he deserves a bit more respect than naming his replacement before his tenure has ended?! Couldn’t New Zealand Rugby have made the decision, signed Razor for the next cycle & had him also sign a non-disclosure until after this years cup? That to me is what a professional organisation would do. Robinson’s decision making is lacking in that department…& also seemingly, compassion.
