D grade school prop and Reds tragic, will also get behind Cowboys and Broncos. Rarely miss watching a test match by Kangaroo's, Wallabies or Oz cricket. Outside of the Roar I am an assistant junior rugby coach and enjoy racing out of Whitsunday Sailing Club.

What a shame for him. When he is ready to come back and play perhaps it could be via the bench in Grades/NRC or as TWAS mentioned the U21 World Cup, then strength/ conditioning work and pre season.

Reds dealt massive blow as Jordan Petaia ruled out for the Super Rugby season

Can’t call it ( bank name) Purdo, it defeats my moral compass aligning all the fun I have had there over the years with a morally deficient finance institution.

The Wrap: The Sunwolves and Super Rugby’s shame file

Well I am enjoying watching my team this year, seems to be a lot of negativity going round. For the first time in years I am seeing some mettle from my troops. Backline moves that don’t end in a dropped ball or a pass to no one is a novelty for Reds fans. We are three loses in but the road trip is over. Can’t wait for Reds v Tahs at Lang Park, I will be there with the class of 85 and hopefully we will see a long deserved win over the old enemy.

0 – 0 at fulltime in the Tempo Cup. When interviewed both coaches said we are heading in the right direction and need to fine tune a few things.

Too soon for doom and gloom at Waratahs?

A great way to have people look back on your time in charge with favour PeterK, had the incoming coach a dud roster.

Too soon for doom and gloom at Waratahs?

The Reds seem to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory alot so pencil in the Tempo Cup as a couple of potential wins.

Wallabies to play Fiji in Townsville in third July Test for 2020

Well done RA, I’m buying tickets and heading to the Ville for the weekend with my two sons. Might give the Brewery a workout on Friday night before the game.

Wallabies to play Fiji in Townsville in third July Test for 2020

A good stint in County cricket will do him the world of good, back to the basics for the season and learn to leave the ball.

Axing the latest chapter in Renshaw rollercoaster, but he’ll be back

Burdekin Cane Toads legend. RIP.

Rugby has lost one of its gladiators

Has Uelese even played a game this year?

Super Rugby Round 3 teams: Petaia ruled out in injury blow for Reds

What is Angus Bell like at LH prop?. He will have a serious examination of his technique by Ruan Smith. Smith got one over Slipper last week.
Bringing tiny Tom on as the back up plan if all goes bad at scrum time is an interesting Plan B by the coach.

I thought Tahs played well last time in Newcastle, if Foley played the Wolves would have put 50 on them.

Tahs can’t afford another Newcastle stumble

Hamish Stewart is a curious choice at 12. I hope he has a blinder. I wonder if he has bulked up in the off season as he will have a lot of traffic coming his way.

Isaac Lucas dropped to the bench for Reds clash with Lions

Josh Nasser off the bench, hope he plays like his Dad. Big debut for a young prop coming of the bench in Joburg.

Super Rugby Round 2 teams: Reds drop Lucas in selection bombshell

So Drew & Mcardle have been axed. They were the most bland commentators. A bit of a silver lining.

Roll up, folks, it's time for another round of rugby broadcast negotiations by media

Ponies halves outplayed Reds halves. Joe Powell had a good game and gave Lolesio good ball.

Lolesio relishing in Lealiifano's old role

The Reds backrow is my worry. In Wright and Scott Young you have two abrasive hard working flankers but neither are line busters. Step up Harry Wilson at no.8 at 21 years does he have a running, line busting game that our pack need?

Graham had a young backrow of Gill, Quirk and Schatz that was hardworking but lacked penetration in attack and it helped contribute to some dire results. All 3 players were skilled but they did not gel as a unit. Are we heading down the same path.

Robinson, Higginbothan & Samo, now there’s a backrow.

Super Rugby Round 1 teams: Four new faces for Waratahs, Nawaqanitawase to start

Bizarre that the game may be called due to heat and fires. Up here it is pouring rain. A land of extremes.

I am pleased to have Henry on board, he adds to the competition for outside back spots that will hopefully inspire CFS to show more than potential.

Speight set for emotional Brumbies return

Last year the Reds attack was woeful. The Piggies toiled hard and gave the backs enough pill to work with and the backs squandered the opportunities. JOC will hopefully add some direction to the attack.
But there were also the raft of other issues – defence, discipline, direction, dropping ball (and that’s just the D’s). A lot to fix for a young side.
My expectations for the season are low and can only go up from here.
Bring on the Ponies I can’t wait, is it Friday yet?

Super Rugby 2020 preview: Queensland Reds

Interesting comments on Holloway at 8 Paul, he is held in some circles as the great Oz hope at the back of the scrum.
What specifically does he lack for an 8, speed, work rate or positional play?. I have only seen him play lock.

Reds continue good pre-season form

I liked Fionns comments better.

Joe Powell has more than just Super Rugby wins to worry about this season
