D grade school prop and Reds tragic, will also get behind Cowboys and Broncos. Rarely miss watching a test match by Kangaroo's, Wallabies or Oz cricket. Also enjoy yacht racing.

The flawed Rugby nominations committee that Ross Tulloch derides has come up with Alexi Baker as a proposed candidate for the Board.
I wonder what makes her unsuitable to SOARR.
– Experience at Channel 9?
– A former NRL Exec?
– Or under 60 and Female?

'Definition of madness': Rugby reform must start with total cleanout of RA board - and this should happen next

Cale was also talked up Fez.
The latest bright and shiny new thing that needs to be in Wallyb’s gold.

Can’t wait to see a backrow containing both Cale and Gleeson exuding their intimidating presence. Rush them straight in don’t wait for them to develop.

Brumbies 'systematically taken apart by the Blues' in 'non-contest' as Larkham's men cop huge reality check

Every team has a bad day at the office.
The Brumbies just had one.

The Reds had a shocker v the Force (40-31) and played poorly against Moana (17-14).
But the Brumbies seemed to give up in the second half and the scoreline reflected this. They did not even play for pride.

Missed the game, watched the highlights- well played Force.

Beale, Rodda shine on Super Rugby return as Force smash Crusaders to keep finals hopes alive

I think he looked better at centre last night than at 10.

'Like a Scud missile': World Cup reject leads rout, but Reds suffer fresh blow with Petaia's season in jeopardy

Creighton and Hunter next week Hopefully JOC on the pine. I don’t think you could start him against Auckland with no recent footy.

'Like a Scud missile': World Cup reject leads rout, but Reds suffer fresh blow with Petaia's season in jeopardy

Nah we’re claiming underdog status!

Super Rugby teams week 9: Beale back for first time in 1494 days, Reds make 6 changes, Wallaby returns for Brumbies

Good read and well articulated case Harry.
I was against the concept of picking players from OS for a while. However seeing the talent move overseas at a younger age and they train and play in a higher standard competition.
We need to pick the best to be competitive against the Lions and home RWC no matter where they pay their trade.

Scrap the Giteau Law: Rugby Australia should look to Rassie's 'Boks RWC recipe if it wants to re-join the big boys' table

A bit for Kiss to consider when putting the 23 together.
Do you keep Liam Wright at blindside or give Bryant a start?
Is Paisami and Petaia a good centre combo or is Petaia best to stay on the wing and Taj Annan starts in the centres?
Connor Anersen or Joe Brial to come into the 23 in the backrow?

Reds cop another blow with Wallabies hopefuls to miss Highlanders clash

I thought Fraser might have been 1 week.
Tate’s 3 weeks is fair – his was always going to be 3-4 based on previous good behaviour.

'Not ideal': Reds star duo cop Super Rugby bans after red cards - but where's the consistency?

I would do that as well Mirt on the bus trip from city up to school. The number 23.

The Wrap: Crusaders' shot clock fiasco and shhh, don’t put the moz on Darby

“Just like last few years, diminishing and wearing me out”
As a Reds fan I feel you pain mate!

Tualena has been a good buy for the Rebels.
I think he has plated from the bench, breakaway, no8 and lock in the past few games.
Can jump, is mobile and plenty of energy.

'Kid wonder': Lancaster, Gordon shine as Rebels take one giant step in locking in maiden Super Rugby finals berth

Thanks Paul, and so begins my long journey to hoist myself from tide last in the comp to Victory.

Pies are pretty tasty though.

'Needs to be considered': Bell out of Super Rugby season as ex-Wallaby suggests left-field positional switch

How fast is he? – no 12. Run hard and run straight.

'Needs to be considered': Bell out of Super Rugby season as ex-Wallaby suggests left-field positional switch

Having worked on the weekend I missed those monumental news items Geoff.

Perspective is an interesting concept, I read in the Rebels/Drua match summary where the red cards issued to Drua players were described by one Roarer as ‘Pretty Soft’.

Lord knows what you would have to do on the field to receive a deserved red card in that scribes eyes?

The Wrap: 'Take them to a dark place' - A quiet round grabs eyeballs for all the wrong reasons

Bit of a worry over Bell leaving the field Jez. I had high hopes of strong season from him in Gold.

Hope he is OK.

Brumbies make it 12 straight against Tahs as Bell hobbles off in worrying sign for Wallabies

Alexi Baker has a good resume with NRL/Channel 9 experience.

Rugby Australia is a perpetually flawed organisation, incompetence and mismanagement go back decades.

The big concern of wholesale changes now as some suggest is that after the absolute toilet flush of a year that 2023 was, things seem to be slowly heading forward. The success of the Wallyb’s v Wales this year and a competitive Lions series next year is important and will put some money in the bank.

What if Horne, Nucifora, Schmidt decide they don’t want to work for RA under new management? Just another toilet flush year.

Only with a good bank account can real reform be completed.

Exclusive: Herbert claims 'steady progress' in rebuilding trust as RA seeks to avert more board bloodshed at AGM

Gotta agree PK, Canham was wearing headgear, so to draw blood after striking a player with your elbow through protective head gear says to me it was a savage whack.

I wonder if the judiciary will agree with Cokers assessment?

'Insane and total stupidity': Drua have two SENT OFF as Rebels score 33 unanswered points to win again

As an outside observer, I think everything at the tahs this year is going just swimmingly! 👍 😁

'What the hell's going on': Ex-Wallabies question 'losing' culture, pathways at Waratahs

I saw below Kitshof plays some big minutes. Pretty impressive stuff.

'He'd been flogged to death': Rebels GM's scathing Tupou claim as Wallaby battles to reignite his fire

I would love to see the minutes Tadhg Furlong has played over the past 3 years compared to Tupou.
I’m a big fan of T.T. but I think Stiles has his hand on it coming out with these statements.
I think Furlong is the benchmark for no. 3’s in the game.

'He'd been flogged to death': Rebels GM's scathing Tupou claim as Wallaby battles to reignite his fire

I thought they had toughness Bobby!, what happened to Tah TOUGH?

Five things we learnt: Why Cheika could be the man to resurrect Tahs, Thor is the new Quade, value of sevens

Surely the smartest and most logical thing for the tahs is to finish the season with current coaching group. Review the season and call for expressions of interest for all coaching staff. (How is it that Whittaker never seems to be in the crosshairs?)
