It’s going to be hard to pick any Brumbies in the Wallabies squad when they’ve been dismantled by the top kiwi teams.
They only beat the Reds by 1, the Force by 3 and the Highlanders by 6.
So perhaps not travelling as well as they thought?

I don’t go to the Reds for three reasons:
1. Food and beverage prices
2. The music
3. The manufactured “we are Red”

League is such a simple game.
It’s all about field position and Gerard Sutton did a great job keeping the Dogs in the game with some of the softest penalties seen in the history of the NRL. His eyesight is shot and he must be the most captain’s challenged referee in the game. Time to retire Gerard.
Souths kicking game is below average. With metres at a premium in these games some of their kicks for line after a penalty went about 8m. I don’t understand for the life of me why teams don’t strive for more distance. It’s not as if Souths pack was bending the line! So why not take 30-40 metres? Watch some union and you’ll see how! It takes pressure off fatigued forwards and deflates tired defences. But Souths once famous for their restarts are meek in attack.
Best for Souths were Tallis Duncan, Shaq Mitchell, Jack Wighton and Cam Murray.
Reserve grade performances from Milne, Tass, Hawkins, Walker, Kaloamatangi, and Mitchell.
Good efforts from Host, Burgess, Tatola, Johnston, Cook, and Moale. Some of the defence was very good signs for the future.
League is such a simple game.

100% agree.
At the moment, Souths have a very average fullback, reserve grade centres and a NSW cup standard halfback.
Even at 40 or whatever he is, Cody Walker still cannot keep his cool and is just a petulant child when baited.
Souths are easy beats until JD picks that team you’ve named.

Ikitau is world class. Just not sure the circumstances are right. It’s all academic unless they win by more than 7 this Sunday.
Shame for Jorgensen but he’s a young player who has another 10-12 years at the top.
Wright and Pietsch haven’t shown the goods at this level. Tom was equally bad and good in the Baa Baas games against club competition.
