I couldn’t believe all the experts on Fox picked a close game last night. Manly got flogged by Melbourne and then beat an injury riddled Easts.

Souths never really had to get out of 3rd gear last night. They played high percentage rugby league and whilst Manly had no luck, I don’t think the game was ever in doubt.

Storm will be too strong today.

Errors just kill you: Talking points from South Sydney’s rout of Manly

Not to mention the strictly illegal walkie talkies in the field the week before against Souths.

'Should have warranted a penalty': NRL admits crucial error in Eels loss - but digs in on other calls

For the integrity of the game, Grant (Penrith panther penalty provider) Atkins should not be anywhere near a panthers’ game.

Cleary is a rule bender. First the blockers now the trainers stopping play when they don’t need to.

So the next best option at 10 after Noah and JOC is a veteran whose best was 10 years ago when the Reds won SR?

I’d prefer Reece Hodge and I don’t know how he is even a Wallaby!

CONFIRMED: Quade Cooper returns for Wallabies at No.10, Rodda starts, two debutants

Watched him in Brisbane for years. He’s a cream puff when it gets tough. Just like his mate David Fifita.

Just for kicks, 'incredible' Cleary fires for Panthers, Manly terrific even without Tom

Grant Atkins should be dropped to reserve grade after that one sided performance. Very inconsistent and the bunker didn’t help him.

Naden backs into a tackle and then goes down with a “crusher” to con Atkins into giving Penrith a piggy back penalty. Absolutely naive refereeing. Milked the ref like a big jersey cow.

To compound that Kaloamatangi is charged by the match review and the “system” is against him. The dominos that fall because Atkins was milked by Naden. An average player milking and an equally average referee.

I think Noah should be given a chance but not at this level. He was a schoolboy 12 and just doesn’t have the instincts of a 10 to make the right calls under test match pressure.

In order to win, we need to be ruthless. On the field and at the selection table.

WILL GENIA: Why I'd opt for Noah and Tate, and loved Hunter's 'ballsy' play

I agreed with every word of this article. Who selected that side? Any insights?

I like the passion that Matt Philip brings but his tackling (stands passively and does not hit with shoulder) should prevent him being a wallaby. Being able to tackle should be a gate to get into this team.

'Absolutely mystifying': Selection mistakes that almost cost Australia

We will win.

I just hope we play like we’re match fit and game smart. Not like we are still at Sanctuary Cove playing against uncontested scenarios. The Wallabies always come back from these camps and play like they haven’t played in weeks…

'Still at the foot of the mountain': Pressure straight on Rennie

James Graham on NRL360 again demonstrates he’s had one too many head knocks.

For the record, James, culture is the behaviour of staff when the boss is not watching.

'Stupid and irresponsible': Vaughan says sorry after party costs him $750,000 contract

Origin 3 teams: Who's in for Cleary? Fittler names his NSW line-up

I think the best option for the Maroons is to play Munster at left centre, Ponga at 6 and AJ Brunson at 1.

Origin 3 teams: Who's in for Cleary? Fittler names his NSW line-up

As much as I wanted to see Reynolds and Walker play alongside their Souths team mates, I’m happy to support the contrasting styles of Moses and Wighton (who will play out of his skin).

Api deserves some time on the field too. It will be a big blowout to NSW like game 1.

A half needs a decent forward pack. You’ve still got to win the middle – that’s why NSW lost in 2020 with Cleary at 7.

Disaster for Panthers, Blues as shoulder injury leaves Cleary's season in doubt

Adam Reynolds kicking game and temperament are made for Origin.

And if the Roosters are smart, they will move that smirking overrated up himself Radley onto the open market.

Congratulations to Boyd Cordner on an incredible career.

Farewell Boyd

Some huge question marks on this team:

Will 6 and 7 turn out like Maloney and Pearce? Great at club level but…

Tariq Sims? Can get up for one game but may need to be dropped after G1.

Mitchell? Has not played centre recently

Murray? One game in a month

Game 1 in Townsville and QLD’s odds are $2.50. I’m taking that…

NSW Blues Origin 1 team: Expert reaction, every selection analysed

I don’t blame SANZAAR for the lack of skill development in AU rugby over more than a decade of decline.

But I think their lack of vision for the SR competition they ran needs to be called out. Well done.

Australian rugby's new pyramid (scheme)

Funny watching James Graham on NRL360. How did he get this gig?

Wanna stay on the field? Don’t hit a player in the head

It was more the magnitude of the wins (other than the Bulldogs loss to Raiders) that meant it was very predictable and demonstrates the chasm that exists between top 8 and bottom 8.

Eight talking points from NRL Round 10

So 7 out of 8 of the top teams won. No magic in that round.

It’s a great concept though; fantastic for fans and players alike.

Munster was on fire at Friday’s on Friday night with the Cheese.

Reds crash back to earth with loss to Highlanders

He’s not Folau Fainga’a? What’s tough about that? I said he wouldn’t let anyone down and he didn’t. I agree he has a bright future. At least he throws the ball into lineouts straight unlike the Reds hookers, who need a GPS some games!

Super Rugby AU final teams: Reds change captain, Brumbies hit hard by injuries

He won’t be the last Rabbitoh they sign…

CONFIRMED: Reynolds officially signs three-year deal with Broncos

Brumbies have only 3 of their starting 2020 final pack. Let’s look at who’s come in.

2. Lonergan – helps their ACT quota. Won’t let anyone down but not FF.
4. Swain – emotional player will have to calm nerves for the final. This is not Miskin Oval.
8. Valetini – great first half in last game v Reds but went missing in H2
7. Scott – ACT Marist boy wonder v McReight
6. Frost – mobility and height both concerns for Reds. ASY will be looking to thaw him in half
