What goes up must come down at Lottoland
Peeeko I totally agree. They are buying so would called jounery players. Players that would be fringe or nsw cup players at the top teams.
What goes up must come down at Lottoland
Uate has been good, however, he is unreliable under the high ball and makes bad errors.
Barrett is not the coach for Manly. They need to get Hasler next year if he does not get resigned by the Dogs.

Vincent I was going to add into the article that Paul White is overseeing the 25 million dollar development of their training facilities, however, I left it out.
See it all stems from head office that is why I gave Paul White a wrap due to how he handles himself and the team. He did have a brain tumour last year
Why the Brisbane Broncos are a model of consistency
Vincent I love your insight into this. Thanks for the feedback I will make sure I take this into account in my next articles.
Why the Brisbane Broncos are a model of consistency
Tigranes I am actually a Souths Supporter
Why the Brisbane Broncos are a model of consistency
Vincent Hugh I understand they have an advantage and that due to the large market they can afford to miss some stars as they can choose from plenty, however, I wrote the article based on the Broncos off and on the field performance. As you stated they grew 9% last year an amazing achievement. It is one thing to have such resources it is totally different to executing a plan to take advantage of these resources.

Gold Coast Bunny you make an excellent point
Michael Maguire needs to pull a bunny from his hat
Up in the North I agree White was not there since there inception and he didn’t recruit most of those players mentioned, however, continuing the Broncos legacy and culture is different.
The dragons had a culture when Wayne Bennett was there, however, Peter Doust, Paul McGregor and Steve Price ruined that. I think White deserves credit in sticking to the process which was already working and not inventing the wheel.
Why the Brisbane Broncos are a model of consistency
Rob I will have to disagree with your view here. I think Maguire is a good coach. It is one thing to have a good team which Russell Crowe did assemble, however, it is entirely different to have them playing as a unit.
Michael Maguire needs to pull a bunny from his hat
Rod I totally agree with you. That 1-17 is an abolsute joke. With Kelly and Tyrell in the starting line up it does not bode well for Souths

Eel47 they were looking after their rosters. However, may I ask the question why didn’t Souths or Penrith look after Roberts with his incidents.
They managed the situation effectively.
Why the Brisbane Broncos are a model of consistency
Reservoir Animal I think you have missed the point it is one to have a city of two million at your disposal its another to pick the right players from the two million.
They have choosen the right players time after time. When they come off contract, clubs want to sign those players but Brisbane find a way to keep them. For instance Matt Gillet was going to sign with Cronulla they were the rumours, however, he signed with the Broncos becuase of their culture, structure, onand off field success.

Thanks for the feedback PNG Bronocs

Peeeko I understand you view completely, however, Souths and Dogs if you look at the teams before Michael Macguire coming to Souths they had only made the finals once during their return to the league. If you are saying that is a great culture and good structure we have different definitions. The Dogs issues with Des Hasler before the season started is bad for their structure and culture as you have a board of directors who do not like their coach.
In regards to the Roberts issue any other club would of sacked him for his past incidents combined with this incident. I think you need to look at the totality of the situation and you can see how Paul White made the correct decision to keep him and handled it well.
Why the Brisbane Broncos are a model of consistency
Zedman I agree he had a stint at the Knights, however, the legacy he has left them with is six premiership titles. They have not missed the finals under his tenure. That is why in the article I did not foucs on him, I more focused on the CEO and their juniors recruiting.
Why the Brisbane Broncos are a model of consistency
Andy my apologies I did get the fact wrong I missed the 2000 season. I have emailed the Roar for this to be corrected.
Why the Brisbane Broncos are a model of consistency
Peeeko I disagree with your opinion due to the fact even though they have a city of 2 million people to choose from. They still have to choose the right players and secondly, what is stopping the rest of the clubs going to these trials and selecting these players. That is what the Storm did with Slater, Cronk and Smith.
The brought up the handling of the James Roberts saga as he had numerous issues at various clubs eg (Souths and Penrith where he was sacked ) he has handled the issue at the start of the season as best as anyone can handle it. Just look at how Phil Gould is handling the Bryce Cartwright incident.
This all stems back to the structure and culture they have developed.
Why the Brisbane Broncos are a model of consistency
Mike both Tom and George Burgess not in the 17. Jason Clark and Dave Tyrell have no real impact.
Michael Maguire needs to pull a bunny from his hat
BlakeW I thought before round 1 there was two coaches under more pressure and they were Jason taylor and Paul McGregor. However, I must agree with your view that after round 1 McGregor and Taylor look a lot safer than Madge.
As I said in the article he will be under pressure due to the hard schedule he has coming up.
Michael Maguire needs to pull a bunny from his hat
It will all depend on the performance of James Tedesco and Mitchell Moses. Even though Aaron Woods may be the captain, James Tedesco is the form fullback in the league since last year, without his speed and presence the Tigers are rudderless.
Further, round one is nothing to go on. A lot of teams are still trying to find their feet and combinations. Souths were poor with Inglis being injured in the first 10 and Hymel Hunt not playing for 70 mins did not help their cause.
The West Tigers supporters need to take it one game at a time in order to keep a lid on the growing expectations.
Can Tigers maintain the momentum?
Honey Badger I was at the game on Friday and the same sentiments were heard among the members. Madge’s bash and barge tactics are no longer relevant to today’s game as it has evolved from 2014 when Souths won the competition.
If he does not turn it around with a good showing this week the pressure will start to mount.
Michael Maguire needs to pull a bunny from his hat
Cook is a viable option at either half or hooker. It could create an interesting selection decision for Souths.
Michael Maguire needs to pull a bunny from his hat
PatchMan that would not be a bad bet. They played well at the back end of last season winning their final four games, however, with injuries and a tough early draw ahead, it would not be a bad bet at all

Peeeko if you have done research into the topic you would see it is much cheaper to go to the AFL.
Secondly, with the comparison of the referees they have an effect on the game which impacts why people don’t attend. When Buzz Rothfield a leading journo goes he is not going to another game until the refereeing is fixed you can see an effect that will have on the spectators that read his comments.
