Still, pretty confusing how you’ve contended it:
“Alex Rance haters won’t want to hear this, but his absence in the Tiger backline was the entire difference […] Would Richmond have won with Rance present (and Jack Riewoldt’s wrist healthy)? Probably not”
Also baffled you think Richmond are somehow close to being ignored simply because they’re being called out for a poor performance. The media froths them. And would the Pies really be getting more than their share if they continue to dominate premiership contenders like they did last night?
Thursday's great game exposed the genius of Alex Rance
Well said Marnie. Why people aren’t willing to give Hogan the benefit of the doubt is beyond me, especially when said doubt should have been removed as soon as the club specified he was struggling with mental health issues.
AFL fans can't pick and choose when to care about mental health

It’s absurd to suggest the threats of violence and abuse directed at many women online is not unique in any way. It’s a similar fallacy to responding to every article about domestic abuse of women with “but men are abused, too!”
Of course male athletes cop abuse, sometimes violent in nature. But if you refuse to recognise the pattern of vitriol directed at women, it might be time to “take the blinkers off”, as you say.
