ABS, Pumas, Fiji and France in that order, are main favourites to win gold at París at this moment. Argentina 7s program with Moneyman, Isgro and Lucho are way ahead of Wallabies right now. But long way to go yet.

Why not start from the beginning with T2 and promotion/ relegation ?? 2 each year, so lets say Argentina and Australia or Wales are bottom 2, and Samoa and Portugal are top 2 of second división. Thats the wrong part of it. Even Last team of 2nd should be dropped for next best ranking team. It’s so difficult??? Up to 2032 its only a closed tournament.

Well, the other Top 3 sports worlwide : football 8 different winners in 22 wcs, Basketball has only 4 winners of the Olympics (biggest prize) Usa, URSS, Yugoslavia and Argentina. So for RWC , 4 diff winners in 10 wcs is almost same as fútbol and better than Basketball. In the Last 50 years, only 3 New world champions in football, Argentina in 1978, France 1998 and Spain in 2010.

Well , of course England has better players and better resources than Argentina, but you cant denied that its almost impossible to win the RWC only kicking the Ball. And not funny to neutral. England 2003 was a great team to watch. No need to be harsh. Greetings from the land of the football world champions

Not really, in 2020 Sidney Abs went 100% best team possible at that moment. Also in 2022. Foster is correct to not underestimate Pumas.

SRAmericas has 1 semifinalist, and good games from Uruguay and Chile. SR fired Jaguares, only have 1 nation in SF. Do not include Argentina as a SR side. They were fired indeed.

A year and a half should more than enough. Anyway, if the organizer cannot get a proper training field for a QF team in Marsella, or even a hotel for a Semifinalist in PARIS , well I see why the 3 years needed by WR. A real shame that Argentina has less days of training than the ABs for a Semifinal for not having rooms available in París. Cheika is mad about this. I would made a hell of a press .conference

Well, in paper Argentina and England have zero chances. But hey, stranger things had happened before. I guess since Covid, Pumas has 2 victories and 5 losses with the ABs. It would be a surprise, big one, but not a miracle. England, Who knows? Has great players. Probably Abs by 25-30 and SA by 15-20. That would be logical results…

In NH media give Argentina almost cero chances to defeat Wales. Well, I would say Argentina has the players and the team to beat Wales. the pace, the pack, the kickers. They love to be underdogs, and now they avoided group stage´s elimination. 2019 RWC exit was a shadow that this group has to overcame, with a lot of pressure from supportes, media and argie rugby people. A year ago they lost 20-13 in Cardiff, so, in a neutral venue, with 15k argies supporting, with no pressure on, well, Los Pumas could be a very different beast.

No, 24 teams is best. It would help to spread the game. 6 groups of 4 teams, top 2 advanced to round of 16th. And four best 3rds. Group stages of only 3 rounds, more knock out games, more drama, more inclusion, more fans, more countries interested in. Going back to 16 teams is a shoot on the feet. E.g the 4 extra teams could be USA, Canadá, Kenya, Spain, Netherlands, Brazil, Germany….. I saw a few big markets there. The more games demanded for t2 /3 countries is FOR the RWC as an objetive, a goal, not play only a Test Match. As an Argie Who deeply know the Fifa WC and as a Long T2 country, now barely a T1 you could say, the answer its go deep, 24, not exclusiveness. Blow outs??? It happened before, it will happen anyway. Lets speed up.

Japón Fiji, Uruguay and Samoa. Uruguay prove it, close games vs France and Italy. S.america is a growing market for rugby. Tours to SA will include 2 games, Pumas and Teros. Arg is helping developing Chile and Uruguay without taking his best players.

No, its not a MALVINAS analogy, you do not even understand. Again , in a 3 team tie in points earned and hth, take points diff between games of those teams only. Of course Hth is best in 2, i repeat TWO teams tie, but we are talking about a 3 team tie.

stupid rule regarding 3 teams with same points . Points diff and that´s it, no hth involve.
Funniest scenario here would be five minutes to go and Scotland leading 36-20 with both teams having scored four tries.
At that point, Ireland would qualify by conceding a try, would go out if they didn’t
