Argentina grassroots are booming in quantity, size, speed and quality. Dozens of players from 18 years old are going away to Italy, France, Spain, the US. Easily Jaguares will be competitive again in 2 seasons, not depending on current Pumas abroad, even more than a few will return to play in Jaguares. It was a process. Pathways and programmes are clear and working, just watch Pumas Sevens right now. UAR is doing well with 5% budget of RFU.

Well I do not think that the mens final were decided for that yellow. 7 vs 7 was 24-5 . Finally, at last, Argentina is on top of the world in rugby, in sevens, clear number 1. The team is a well oiled machine. Incredibly, both Ireland and Australia in semis and final almost couldn’t touch the Ball. It was superb

As an Argie point of view. Looks like soccer in the 90s with Bosman Law . South American soccer clubs top the world, Sao Pablo destroying Milan and Barcelona in 1992, and 1993, Argentina world champion in 1986 an finalist 1990, Brazil world champion in 1994. Australia have to adapt. Top tier in rugby are NZ, SA, England, France and Ireland. Then comes Wales, Scotland, Australia ,Argentina, Italy and Fiyi. You have to accept reality, make a Long term program, for grassroots, U20, sevens, local comps, pro comps , SR. Start all over accepting reality. Only way to go up. Your own way.
