I am currently studying journalism and hope for some day to be a sports journalist. My main goal is to hopefully host my own football show. I derive from an Italian family and that's why I am passionate about Italian football and any other football in general. Twitter @anthonyB1996

Atalanta's undefeated run comes to an end after losing to Juventus

It’s a speculation. Probably could happen next season. Although I think this player could end up staying for a while providing if Atalanta keep consistent.

Can Italian side Atalanta replicate the miraculous story of Leicester City?

My mother’s side is from Shepparton Victoria. I live in Orange NSW 3 hours from Sydney. What’s your surname

Yes the Derby Di Sicilia was a special game which showed who was the team that topped Sicilian football on the island.

Atalanta can follow how Sassuolo went last season and qualified for Europa league. However, they should onto all these young talented players until the end of the season and see how it pans out. Honestly if they beat Juve this weekend, then Atalanta can go all the way by using youth.

I wouldn’t like to see no Sicilian club in the Serie A as my family are Sicilian. Seeing Sicily take on the giants like Juve, Inter and AC Milan is exciting for the island. Calcio Catania is a club that I support because that’s the province where the family was born. I have gone for Juventus the whole time as many Sicilians from Catania support the Turin side because it is a neutral and peaceful team. Although hopefully Catania can rise once again. Catania were sometimes consistent and average until they got mixed with fixing scandals and now are currently in Italy’s third division Lega Pro. But I remember the days of when Sicily produced great football and had 3 teams in the top division including small Messina.

A sad day for football fans. It is tough and frustrating for the club who were on the verge of becoming a Brazilian football powerhouse.

Being a Juventus and serie A fan I wouldn’t mind if there was a different winner for once because critics think that the Serie A is not competitive anymore by Juve winning every season. I think where it stands, the league looks promising and watch for teams like Torino. I know there not at the same level with Juve yet but they certainly have the stike power of Andrea Belotti who can win crucial games. Lazio are also in the hot seat.

If Atalanta stay as they are and don’t lose confidence maybe we could see the Leichester of Italy which would be great for the league.

Serie A: The story so far

Very true Sandy, some close rivals of Juve don’t have the long consistent run like the Serie A champions. Napoli were almost there last season but now are not getting over that Higuain transfer and that explains their odd performance. Inter Milan have just spent too much money and some times the bond between players and how well the team gels together is crucial. AC Milan are performing better than Inter so far this season because of youth development that AC Milan have utilised so well.

Juventus surprisingly dismantled by inspired Genoa

Roma are looking great at the moment. If they just stay consistent with winning those important games like the one they lost to Atalanta 2-1 2 weeks ago then expect to see Roma win the Serie A title. Remember AC Milan will be your biggest competitor to fight against Juventus.

For sure, the owner is looking at big Chinese investors that can hopefully add quality strikers and midfielders to the squad. Luca Toni and Amauri made huge contributions to the team.

You are correct. That sought of attitude is not acceptable at this high level of football.
