Stick a fork in them they were already done. Stick a fork in SRP too. The joke that is the SR competition continues. Any entity currently involved with this competition (teams, sponsors, broadcasters) that is not already proactively planning their exit strategy to somewhere else, anywhere else, is not practicing adequate governance.

Wilson jumping in line outs. Wilson not one dimensional. Wilson basically wholesale changes. Other than that not much has.

Among this resurgence of SR the Courier Mail will be all over this soon. “Their” Qld Reds. Any time now. Bueller?

Dislike what? Super Rugby? Hardly alone. It’s pathetic and sad the numbers and has been for years. Get your head out of the sand.
Edit: added the word sad to the word pathetic to describe the SR situation.

'If you want to play ping pong': Wallaby's classic reaction to Jorgo exit talk

Yes we don’t talk about that around here.

Laurie Fisher confirmed on Team Joe as Wallabies invited to Ireland's 150th celebrations

Ping pong might draw a bigger crowd. Wheel out the ping pong table when a scrum reset-athon gets going. It just might save SR. Ping pong decides the next Bledisloe?

Most of the rugby viewing public think SR is dead. It’s why they watch other competitions. I mean if we talk facts over emotion.

'Over the moon': Reds deny Chiefs for 23 PHASES to win 'titanic' trans-Tasman clash as Kiss' revolution continues

A superb Morahan try that evening. Remember it well.

'A wonderful initiative': 33-year first as Wales to take on Queensland Reds in 'nod to traditional tours'

“While the Reds managed to bring back 42,000 fans when they took out the Super Rugby AU title in 2021 under Thorn, that was the exception not the norm.”

Christy please. Haha. You’re engaging in a bit of the old ‘hyper bowling’ there. Anything above 20k in Australian rugby is a miracle. Water to wine stuff.

To some extent I agree with the premise and in other areas I vehemently disagree. The theory has sound elements but not a big fan of Victim with a capital V. Alas we digress. Eddie is just a school teacher who never got over himself. No different to Alan Jones in many respects. Just less successful.

'We needed that': Gordon, Kellaway star in Rebels' epic comeback win as Force capitulate

I’ve never liked a bully. For one they end up being rubbish at this game, don’t last long, but as a coach they are nothing short of toxic. Eddie was neither a good player nor a good coach. He was a good bully though. Edit: I used a naughty word and removed it.

There’s the saying about hitting “rock bottom”. You never do actually know when you have. There’s always the opportunity to sink lower.

I think they’ve misinterpreted entertainment. Certainly Harrison has. Unless entertaining means wanting to open one’s wrists after hearing from him.

Blues v Landers – tick. Rebels v Force – tick. Dare I say officiating so far – tick. Up to the rest of the SRP outfits to ensure good contests. No pressure. So yes pressure. Edited: to apply pressure to remaining games.

Reality check coming. Canes by 15.

ANALYSIS: How the Reds’ ruck system outshone their razzle dazzle - and why they must nail it against Canes

If only one of those nations with a billion people got really into rugby back in those wild colonial days the next broadcast negotiations now would be huuuuge. Then we wake up.

'Ready to go': Jaguares set for early return to Super Rugby if Rebels fall over

Define “soft”. I’ve personally met Christian Cullen, Joost van der Westhuizen, Tana Umaga, David Wilson, Brian Lima, Michael Jones, Josh Kronfeld, Brendan Moon, Ben Tune, Carl Hayman, Roger Gould, and Nobody just off the top of my head stream of consciousness who I would define as “soft” compared to some psychotics whom I would never like to see again on a field nor anywhere else. There are players who you never want to face because they simply are champion athletes. There are people you just never want to face again too. That’s what she said.

All signs point to a Reds resurgence - if players can truly embrace the strengths of Les Kiss

If I had to break my generally pessimistic outlook on Aus rugby wholesale it would be due to this individual. Stand out lock forward. Anyway. Back to to normal transmission.
