This obviously a question that we’re going to have to answer at some stage, but I can’t see the NSP making a bigger issue of this than they need to – if they’re smart they’ll simply wait until picking the team for the series against Pakistan and keep Watson on the current tour to avoid the possible connotations of dropping him by sending him home early (no matter how much they would claim it’s for injury rehabilitation!)…
By the time August comes around, many things could happen to affect their decision so untul then it’s just speculation as to who they will drop – because drop someone they will, Watson’s obviously a favourite….
