Love cricket and footy, play them at a high level. My most menotable sporting moment is when Justin Longmuir kicked a goal after the siren Freo v St kilda

Forgot Justin Longmuir 2005
I would go for Michael Walters, especially from a tight angle he is deadly.
The person I would not want having a shot at goal would be Alex Silvagni, he should stay in the
backline
Ever dreamed of kicking the winning goal after the siren?
Surely you would want to play for the country you grew up in.
I think we need to offer him a baggy green and a contract and let him and his great mate Rogers open the batting (its better than Cowan and Warner).
Who will Sam Robson represent: Australia or England?
Agar and Fawad should go and we should leave Lyon behind, poor old okeefe doesn’t get a look in
Lyon tips Agar and Ahmed as Ashes bolters
Channel 9 used to be good when greigy was around and Richie was a bit younger, but there rubbish now. Would love the BBL on TV. Just please DON’T hire Warnie channel 10 because we don’t want to listen to him
Channel Ten fires $500m bid for cricket rights
I wouldn’t be too sure on Essendon mate, Freo and Collingwood are biting at there heels, would think that both Collingwood and Freo and maybe West Coast and Richmond are still a real shot at top 4 don’t count your chickens to early
Has the 2013 AFL season been too predictable?
Yep agree, the key is to shut down Buddy and the rest. Freo do have the defence to do it . However I am more worried about up the other end. Bradley is the only talk forward. Mayne is middle sized and Walters, Ballantyne, Neale and De Boer are all small. I think there defence should cover our attack easily
Fremantle can still win without Pav
Not at the MCG, at Aurora stadium, will be closer than you think
Fremantle can still win without Pav
Great stuff mate, as a dockers fan since the beginning (was only 5 then), I have never really thought we were genuine contenders until now.
Lyon is wb excellent coach, Pav is our best captain and greatest player but unlike in the past when we had a few stars carry us (Allan, Farmer, Haselby) we now have a 22 great players. Even the fringe players like Crozier and Sutcliffe are performing well and I felt Crozier was stuff not to be playing this week.
Let’s just hope (and pray) that we can keep it up the whole year and not perform in patches like we have in the past.
The AFL's great west hype
These days Freo fans will full up the stadium, they have.60000 members
Port vs Crows: the showdown for all South Australians
That looks a little to familiar to the team that played in Chennai and what happened there. Warner ,Cowan ,Watson ,Henriques, and Wade all need to go being replaced with Rogers, S Marsh, Burns, OKeefe.
1St test team
1. Rogers
2. Hughes
3. Khawaja
4. Clarke
5. S Marsh
6. Burns
7. Paine
8. OKeefe
9. Siddle
10. Pattinson
11. Bird or Harris
Also take Bailey, Hartley, Agar, Faulkner and Voges
My Australian squad for 2013 Ashes Tour
Sorry a few mistakes
when I said true I meant to say true pitches
Time to see some heads roll
while the top 6 isn’t perfect, its the best I can come up with, the pros for OKeefe is that he can support the batting line up as well, also Marsh and Burns are better batsmen than there shield average suggests (especially marsh) and believe that they are better than Warner or Smith. Before everybody starts bagging me for picking Phil Hughes yes I would never play him in the subcontinent he is a better batsmen than Cowan on true and his record in county cricket is outstanding.
Time to see some heads roll
Mitch Marsh, great talent but needs a few more years in shield. Faulkner or Butterworth for now. Btw IM not from tassie
Six rants on Australia’s Indian misery
My Ashes XI would be
1. Rogers
2. Hughes (made a mountain of county runs last season)
3. Khawaja
4. Clarke
5. S Marsh
6. Burns
7. Paine (wk)
8. OKeefe / Faulkner (depending on the pitch)
9. Siddle
10. Pattinson
11. Harris
also take: Bird, Bailey, Butterworth, Hartley , Agar and Silk
Huge changes needed before the Ashes
being a Freo fan it was great to see. Just don’t do a Carlton and talk us up so much that we crack under pressure. sssshhhhhhhh keep it quiet ok.
It's Ross Lyon's way or no play
reckon Mitch Marsh brings more to the team than Hughes but yes with Swann out Hughes won’t have to face to much of it in England however will have to face the Jimmy Anderson Swing (anyone remember caught guptill bowled Martin)
Australia's worst management leads to worst Test team
I think we just have to accept that we won’t win the Border Gavaskar with the team we have got so we.have to look forward to the Ashes and not make the same mistake there
Australia's worst management leads to worst Test team
Shaun Marsh if not injured is the way to go, other openers around In good form are Chris Rogers or how about having a wicketkeeper open Tim Paine could do it
Who will save the day for Australian cricket?
Swans weren’t exactly in hot form, they had a loss and a draw in the last 2 weeks.
Where to from here for Collingwood?
