highlighting the lost of Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad is a bit tough. He was not going to be picked over RTS, and as for not getting a game in 2018…well they did make the playoffs that year, RTS was the Dally M, David Fusitu’a was the leading try scorer and Ken Maumalo avg 150 running meters per game. he wasn’t going to get game time so they did good by him by letting him go.
overlooking Ata Hingano and Mason Lino…who have played a combined 12 NRL games since 2019 (all 12 by Lino).
yes a lot of experienced players left but outside of Johnson, they were all at the end of their careers when they left.
but yeah Kearney is just not NRL Head Coach material. so are Head Coaches while others are better as No2 and there is no shame in that.
BTW Nathan Brown poor choice as coach.

So Raelene Castle was right to consolidate all the rugby into one package and reject the Fox deal because there was a better deal out there. its unfortunate she won’t be getting any of the credit for laying the foundations for this.
