With a test batting average of 3 when batting in the 11 position and twice that when opening the choice of where he bats is obvious! 😂

'I'm excited to challenge myself': Test spinner turns to a new state in search of greater opportunities

Apparently county cricket hss been using the Kookaburra ball for the first two rounds, some big scores as a result.

Lyon and Boland suffer brutal County Championship debuts - but 'very unknown' Aussie lights up IPL

A good read Kamran, thanks. Should be an epic series! 🏏

Australia vs India: A stronger Test rivalry than the Ashes down under in recent times?

Yeah that doesn’t seem right Micko, if it is it’s a late night for Starc having to sit up to watch the wife play! 😛

Australian cricket 2024-25 schedule CONFIRMED: Perth usurps Gabba 'fortress' for opening Test against India

Tremendous performance from WA, Tasmania won the toss but it was all downhill from there. Gannon a bit stiff to not get man of the match, but the captain’s knock was critical as well. Not really seeing any of the state teams which could challenge in the next few years. A fantastic bubble of players coming through, higher honours for them is inevitable. (I hope!)

Unstoppable WA wallop Tassie to complete unprecedented 'triple double' of Shield and one-day titles

Maybe not a great call from Tasmania to send in WA when they go beyond 100 without losing a wicket. A long way to go in this match but Tas need to wrap up the tail and bat big.

Sam slams ton before Cooper's super knock puts WA on top over Tassie in Shield final

Colin “Funky” Miller? I haven’t seen Cam Green bowl offies, but you never know! 😊

'As much talent as Warner coming through': Ponting's big call as Fraser-McGurk gets late IPL contract

At a strike rate of 81 as well. 🏏

Round 10 Sheffield Shield wrap – Who's hitting their stride ahead of the big final?

We don’t hold the Border Gavaskar trophy. India does.

The Dean Jones example that Australian selectors must avoid in regenerating ageing Test squad

A good read Tsat, in my opinion that’s exactly why England have gone down this path, but there’s no shame in losing to this Indian team at home. Jus as an aside I saw a great meme the other day: ” England need to forget this bazball sh#t and go back to what made them successful. Stealing South African cricketers!”

'Nothing but a horses-for-courses strategy': Why England had to turn to Bazball because of its player pool

You do remember they beat us here at home with a severely depleted team last time?

Test Mortem: Epic comeback win but cracks remain in line-up, Shield form has to count for something, Pat should bat higher

We lost to India here the last two times they’ve toured. They will likely have a couple of batsmen on their first trip to Australia but otherwise are probably a stronger, improved team team than what has come before. I am in no way “pretty confident” but nonetheless really looking forward to the encounter.

They were all dreadful reviews. The Three Stooges! 😂

England in all sorts as Stokes falls for a duck, Poms bowled out in two sessions after opting to bat first

Good use of DRS from Stokes. You can never be too sure. 😂

You just used up a review on a howler! 😂

Test Mortem: Aussie aura living rent free in Kiwi minds, Marnus officially in a form slump, DRS needs review

Murphy was hooking Wood in the ashes too! 👍

Will Pucovski has given Australian sport its first major concussion test case

He did nothing wrong. I’m certain he would have gone through some very dark times but has got through it and prospered. All credit to him.

Will Pucovski has given Australian sport its first major concussion test case

My thoughts exactly. My personal opinion is that CA should take the decision from Puc. But I realise it probably won’t happen that way.

Windies beat us in a test last time we played them. Here at home. Kinda recently DaveJ 😊

Every Aussie rated from first Test vs New Zealand: Green and GOAT great, Marnus misery as batting woes deepen

Meredith and Webster put on 153 for the last Tasmanian wicket! 😱 👍 🏏

Joy of six: Lyon dismembers Black Caps as Aussies surge to commanding win, 1-0 series lead

Yes, and the suggestion of dropping Marnus meant only one QLDer in the team, who as I pointed out originally from south of that border.

Green stands tall with breakthrough ton while wickets tumble as Aussies crumble against Black Caps pace attack

No, no, no. It’s my gag not yours! 😁 👍

And he’s from NSW! 😁

As soon as I saw it I said “Gee, that’s a Green pitch” 😛 How right I was! Only saw the kayo highlights but he played some lovely strokes. Henry bowled beautifully too. Gotta love test cricket! 🏏
