Seems a strange move considering at the Force he’ll have Lance ahead of him at 10, Tapuai and Meakes ahead of him in the centres, and DHP locked in at 15.

Has Luke Burton moved on from the Force for next year? Maybe Coleman will come in as that utility back on the bench.

Robbie Coleman leaving the Brumbies to head west

Brilliant defence from England. Better team definitely won on the night, but geez it’s hard to fathom how there wasn’t a yellow card or two amongst that.

Frisby needs to start next week, and maybe it’s worth trying the Folau to 13 move for the dead rubber. 24/7 ball skills training for the entire squad until then.

That pretty much sums up CFS as a player

Well we tried our best to lose that. Talk about an adrenaline rush. Hunt had an absolute cracker tonight. Not sure what value Gorumaru adds if he can’t come on and kick those goals.

I was very sceptical of us signing Eto Nabuli, but geez he could be a weapon if he can add some polish to his game

That’s an absurd decision to not give Smith a card for that

Well as a Reds fan, I can’t help but feel that was a depressing sign of things to come. Not at all impressed with Jake Mac’s first proper crack at filling Quade’s boots. Nick Frisby’s game was a highlight – I’m obviously biased but I do think he has the skillset to fill the Wallabies #9 jersey – as was the surprisingly solid game from Eto Nabuli. For the Tahs, I thought Beale was impressively composed at 10, and the new 12 (Horwitz? Horowitz?) looks like quality.

The uncontested scrums were VERY fortuitous for the Tahs in terms of the bonus point.

Not surprised that we’ve seen the end of Watto. As good an ODI player as he has been, in all likelihood he won’t be around at the next World Cup and with Faulkner, Maxwell and Marsh all fit and available the allrounder spot is sufficiently covered.

Paris has been impressive so far but I’m surprised they haven’t given Behrendorff a run – maybe they are keen to give him more time in the shield post injury.

Bailey was probably saved by his ability to provide a calm head down the order if the boys at the top fall cheaply, but he’ll surely be feeling the pressure with Khawaja, Lynn and Head all breathing down his neck. Ditto Finch who could see his opening spot under fire from Marsh (or Ussie). I wouldn’t have Joe Burns anywhere near the ODI side at the moment.

Oh Mitch. Just when things were starting to look up.

Horrible batting. It looked like he was trying to give the slips catching practise.

At least he didn’t run Smith out. Silver lining.

He scored a century IN THE LAST MATCH. If you were a selector, no player would ever feel confident of their spot in the team

I really don’t understand this sentiment that Burns is somehow more suited to the middle order. He’s comfortably played his best first class cricket as an opener, and by all reports he loves to open because he suffers from extreme anxiety when he’s waiting to bat later in an innings.

Bancroft must replace injured Khawaja in Adelaide

What a day! The question is fast becoming how many runs does Smith want and how long will he bat on? There is some serious fire power in this batting lineup if they want to accelerate the scoring tomorrow morning.

I wonder whether he might end up playing some flyhalf, considering the inexperience of McIntyre and Greene as well as the fact that fullback is probably Hunt’s best position. Seems a strange signing – you would have thought he’d have wanted to play for the new Japanese side.
