Ben Pobjie is a writer and comedian whose promising rugby career was tragically cut short the day he stopped playing rugby and had a pizza instead. The most he has ever cried was the day Balmain lost the 1989 grand final. Today he enjoys the frolics of Wallabies, Swans, baggy greens, and Storm.

No I’m not sure of anything to do with club doctors, just that the AFL official policy of keeping positive tests secret is for recreational drugs not PED.
'Strongest drugs code in sport': AFL set to revamp three-strikes policy amid new 'secret immunity' bombshell
I believe the three strikes policy is only for recreational drugs. So a positive test for performance enhancing drugs wouldn’t be kept private, as I understand it.

It’s World Rugby proposing the changes.

I don’t know why you’d say “if you don’t like scrums”. I didn’t ever say I didn’t like scrums. I love scrums. I just don’t like multiple resets, or the ultimate aim of the scrum being to win a penalty.

I didn’t say I didn’t like scrums or mauls. Only that I liked what they used to be more than what they are now. Didn’t mention the points system at all.

Yes it’s ridiculous. Nobody ever hits pedestrians while exceeding the speed limit. Unheard of.
Game’s gone soft, huh? League's tough enough without dangerous incidents getting feather touch from judiciary
Is there anything more calculated to make a guy feel old than the existence of a 23-year-old named “Mavrik”?

Ok, so you think that because murder can’t be an accident, it’s impossible to be convicted of anything that you didn’t intend to do.

So the Tasmanian government shouldn’t get four weeks?
The AFL holding Tasmania to ransom with stadium political football is an utter disgrace
Like when you’re driving at 120 in a 60 zone, and you hit a pedestrian, and you don’t get convicted unless it can be proven you wanted to hit the pedestrian?

I don’t know where the idea that a player can’t be held responsible for dangerous play unless he’s deliberately trying to hurt someone came from.
And I don’t think that “you are free to do X, but if you get it wrong and endanger another player, it’s on you” is a difficult message to comprehend.

“ Tate McDermott is the front-runner at halfback, but his pass won’t ever hit great heights.”
That’s good isn’t it – if it did, it’d go over the flyhalf’s head.
