52′ Here come the Raiders attacking the Storms line. Their kick yet again can’t force a drop out. Their fifth tackle options have been poor all night as Vunivalu comes up with the ball and almost breaks through. Storm work it out here from their line as Smith finds the grass and Raiders start their set 10m out. 1st play Vunivalu strips the ball off Cotric but it goes forward so luckily the Raiders will get a fresh set.

50′ Lots of second phase play here from the Raiders as they offload at will. After a good play Soliola goes through but as he is brought down he offloads back to no one as the Storm come up with the ball. As Storm break the ball is offloaded to Slater who knocks it on. So after all that Raiders get the ball back 20m out with a fresh set.

48′ Storm on the attack but Tohu Harris has raised his elbow and given away a penalty in attack. He goes on report and gives the Raiders back the ball. That’s a let off for the Raiders.

43′ A straight forward set from the Storm as Canberra come back at them. Another great bomb this time from Sezer and yet again well taken by Slater. As Melbourne try to offload it has touched Tapine’s arm so the Storm have a new set of six from their own 20m line. And Tohu Harris wins a penalty as Leilua gives away a penalty for being offside and is marched 10m.

41′ And we are back underway as Storm kick off. A simple set to start from the Raiders before spreading it to the left through hands. A good floating ball by Austin but it is taken well from Slater as the Storm get their first use of the ball.

Not an exciting play as they are tackled without putting on anything. We can all take a breath and reflect on a clinical half of football by the Storm. Storm completing at 85% while Raiders have completed at 69%. It has been an entertaining first half. What are your thoughts?

33′ Munster dances around a few as Storm threaten again. Can Canberra hold them out. Been a while since they have been down this end. Munster looks threatening as he spreads left and Addo Carr finds a whole but loses it close to the line. Wighton then makes a break but is brought down 40m out. The play settles as Raiders work it through their forwards. 4th tackle kicks seem the go for some reason for the Raiders. Why? I have no idea but wouldn’t want to see Ricky Stuart.

32′ Soliola hits the ball up as the booos ring out no surprises there. Raiders throwing the ball around but cant find a way through. 4th tackle Sezer puts a grubber through and Munster takes that classily great pick up. On the back of that Leilua gives away a penalty. He needs to be careful as he is getting fired up.
