This article is laden with backhanded compliments. I totally agree though. We’re getting more out of this then they are. That’s a fact. And our players are fighting for their NT survival, (and let’s be honest, exposure on the English stage. Quite the shop window).
This could go either way..my gut feeling isn’t exactly one of major confidence or anything, But I reckon the authors right. We will be totally up for it and England may have to take their foot off the pedal a little, and pull out of tackles etc.. Good for us. Friendly or not, want to spank the poms.

I’ve had nothing but those 3 channels playing 24/7 since they were made available. I haven’t been this engaged in a while.

Good post RBBA. And the main reason why I’ve largely stayed out of this debate. We can’t know. Indeed, Time will tell. Agree, the future looks bright to me too.

I said one thing. Include our Asian cup win and wsw’s ACL win…undeniably bigger achievements. Unquestionably. But that’s just my opinion. And you know what they say about opinions being like a55holes..every forum has one (or 12).

True England are quality, and like bondy says a scored draw would be great. I wish we had a full strength squad, but ange knows what he’s doing.. All of these fringe players are getting a serious shot in the arm. In the grand scheme, its a wise move..fast-tracking some of the youngins. And who knows, we’re still putting a bit of quality onto the pitch aswell.. We do have some goal threats.. Kruse, Rogic, juric, mooy, McLaren, Luongo. You never know if we play to our highest ability and we’re totally in sync..and one of the aforementioned display some individual brilliance…
That said phantom will probably be right lol
