Liam Wright at 6 aint the answer.

All Blacks by 20 means changes aplenty for Wallabies

In my view, this had very little to do with coaching and more about the Kiwi players innate ability to read a ref and push the laws better than their Australian counterparts.

They usually try it on early and reel it back in if they get pinged a few times. Gardner obliged and they went at it hammer and tongs – completely outplaying Aus at the breakdown.

Some of the infringements above are mindboggling obvious. The two where they entered from the side the most painful to observe (the pilfer where a ruck has clearly formed and the cleanout from the side from (i think) ALB). Must have been like Christmas for the All Black loose forwards and centres.

How Dave Rennie’s words came back to haunt him at Eden Park

I thought it was the Wallabies tendency for a low percentage play that stopped them scoring more points. 5% flick passes and the outside of the boot kick from Tupou come to mind.

What changes are on the cards for Rennie's Wallabies in Bledisloe 3?

JOCs defense at 12 should concern you.

I think JOC, Simone is the best option. But could also see Lolesio Simone

Quick get Wright in there so we have a real hard number 7. You know, someone who won’t get stripped by the opposition scrum half.

Match high 22 tackles and a pilfer. What more could you possibly want from an openside?

It’s crazy how 3 international quality coaches have each decided he’s the best 7 and a suitable captain when it’s so obvious to us how bad he is.

‘I prefer ball possession to field position’ Cheika is that you?

I guess you would have been happy at our attempt run it from the 22 that lead directly to their first try after the break.

Modern rugby is all about field position. England showed the way to beat the All Blacks. Defend efficiently with a fast line and keep them pinned in their own 22. Even the All Blacks struggle to score from turnover ball in their own 22.

22 tackles (a match high) plus a pilfer show that Hooper was clearly not the weak link.

The Reds favourite child, Wright, on the other hand – got stripped by a scrum half. Pfft.

O’Connor was second best in the SRA final, just sayin.

I think Rennie showed with the selection of Banks and Paisami that he will pick the next best player in their preferred position.

So, if Toomua is injured i expect Simone to start.

DHP beats his first tackler on nearly every return. He’s far better thank Banks who looks like a deer in headlights on every kick return.

Weird team. Godwin, Neville and Stewart are not in the squad.

Wright was also pretty bloody terribly when he came on.

Beale-esque in his crabbing. But he won’t cop any crap for it because he plays for the Reds.

All Blacks produce second-half blitz to claim dominant Bledisloe 2 win

The Haka isn’t an advantage mate – don’t you know anything?

Hooper who topped the match with 22 tackles leaves you vulnerable in defence?

Righto.

O’Connor was shocking i thought. Poor decision making lead directly to at least one try.

I’ve seen that performance form the Wallabies so many times. All i wanted to see from today is a continuation of the positive steps we made last week.

None of that. Missed four hundred tackles, approximately. Dropped the ball cold about as many times. Terrible kicking from hand. No sniping from the base.

And my personal favourite (the Cheika special) trying to exit your own 22 by spinning it wide. A vintage Wallabies performance to bring us all back to earth.

Tate is just as prone to a wayward pass, unfortunately.

Ned Hanigan returns as Dave Rennie makes four changes to Wallabies team for Bledisloe 2

South African rugby is up the creek if the Lions can’t go ahead.

Enjoy having 100% of your players playing in Europe.

This seems like a pretty well balanced backrow to me. Hooper and Hanigan have huge motors, Hanigan sures up the LO and Wilson brings the power game in attack.

Question marks over Hanigan, for sure. He was debuted way too early and has improved in size, physicality and technique since his last test. I hope he proves the doubters wrong.

BPA seems a gamble – but maybe his throwing in camp has been top notch?

All of this is fine except that they agreed to participate (even conditionally) and have even asked for more time having not even talked to their players.

They should have just pointed to the difficulties first up and said they couldn’t participate so alternatives could be arranged.

It’s disingenuous to say the least. Probably incompetence.

Should South Africa participate in the Rugby Championship?

I thought our box kick worked quite well for us on the weekend.

Is there a better Australian scrumhalf than Nic White?

Only NZ and SA breached that commitment. Everything McLellan said was that they would ‘work with their partners’ to reach some arrangement – one idea being a Champions league.

So yes, we should also go after both NZ and SA for breaching the SANZAAR agreement.

Rumours persist that Springboks will pull out of Rugby Championship

Id sue the pants off them. They informed SANZAAR that they would participate, plans put into place and actions taken.
If they pull out – they will cost everyone millions.
As to player welfare? what utter tripe.

The concern for me is that the ABs had some very obvious, very fixable selection issues. Jbar back to fullback, BB to pivot, Sotutu in for Savea and Clarke on the wing and they are a much, much better side.

Next week is going to be intense.

Where were these Wellington Wallabies?
