Yes, he isn’t what you’d call “durable”. But coaches just cannot get past his potential.
It's time for the Wallabies to front up against ancient foes, and this is how they should do it
He always seems injured

What position ?

C’on Nick, get on board the Neville train. You don’t want to miss it. 😊 😊

Petaia will fill that back 3 role cover.

The bench ? 6 : 2 or 5 : 3 ? Forward battle will be torrid but players to be chosen (like Samu) cover multiple spots. I’d opt for 3 backs – Gordon, Petaia and ??? (maybe Noah or Perese). Noah SEEMS to be Rennies future 10, do needs some time on the field). JOC may find I itself in the stands.

Injury has forced a reshuffle to front row. Sounds like Slips to TH side to cover Taniela. So Bell and Sio to be LHs as neither can play TH. Leota over injured Hollaway. Can’t see Matt Phillip anywhere but bench. Reckon Neville will get his debut cap, partnered by Swain. Hoops and Valetini pick themselves. Just can’t make my mind up on Porecki or FF, to start or bench. Set piece will be crucial(as always) and the loss of a starting Taniela may well result in some early scrum penalties. Go Wallabies!

Australians always want to win, against anybody. But beating England has long and historic roots going back hundreds of years. There is nothing “sweeter”.
My love-hate relationship with Eddie's new England
Like to see Bell moved to TH.

I’m a lot more concerned about Bell. Hero or zero at Super scrums but at international level he is the concern.
The niggly, nagging questions ahead of the first Wallabies-England Test
For deeds done, Ainsley won’t ever play for the Wallabies.

Pone is injured also. But he is a long long way from international propdom (is that even a word)

Rennies got to give Noah some time. At 10 JOC is done and Quade may or may not be around I n a year or 2.

The thing with Pistol is his versatility. Not a starter in my eyes, but covers 6, 7 and 8 very well.

Hopefully Bell starts well at scrums and builds confidence. If he doesn’t, it will be a problem for us !

Mate, go back to your 3 meals a day of powdered custard in the nursing home and reminisce about the great British Empire. 😊

FF will bench and make a pretty good bench front row (after team man Slips takes a positional “hit”). Sio, FF and Slipper, all Brumbies and a “unit”. Backĺìne picks itself. Now Hollaway is out, gotta go with Leota. No brainer. Benchies are interesting. I like Gordon over McDermott and maybe Petaia over JOC. Jordan has so much more “upside” than OConnor. It’s pretty obvious, that all 3, Cooper, Koro and Samu will start ! As to a series prediction ; it will be 2:1, hopefully in the Wallabies favour.

Scott seems a good bloke and coach. Understand we picked a couple of NZ lads in Dean’s and Rennie when we needed some quality. Times have changed and we have a home grown bloke named McKellar, ,who really looks the goods for the Wallaby job. Hope Scott gets the AB job as second prize. 😊 😊

I am still concerned at Bell and scrummaging against the Poms. He loses his cool and drops his lip when he gets pinged a couple of times.
Rugby News: Did Nic White just reveal the Wallabies' first Test No.10? Tupou in major doubt, Smith on help from Quade
DR will now opt for Leota at 6 ( because Hollaway out), Valetini at 8? Can’t find a spot in the 23 for Harry Wilson.

Sometimes a Skipper is faced with a terrible decision as was Captain Cook (off Cooktown) when he hit the Barrier Reef. The decision was to do nothing and sink into oblivion or jettison the deadweight (canons), refloat the “Endeavour” and continue his epic voyage of discovery. Maybe RA are learning from history’s lessons 😊 😊
The Wrap: Is Australian rugby setting itself up to sink or swim?
Taking Tupou out of the mix, Jake the Snake over Tate and then a choice between Jordan and JOC. JOC is now done as an international player (of great worth) whilst Petaia has a huge upside (depending on injury).
'Work ethic, aggression and aerial battles': Using Dave Rennie's statements to predict his first Test team selection
How many Reds lads will make the 23? Obviously Taniela if fit but I believe he is not. So out of Wilson, Tate, JOC, Paisami, Suli, Petaia, Campbell (is he un top squad) who are likely ?
'Work ethic, aggression and aerial battles': Using Dave Rennie's statements to predict his first Test team selection
The Wallabies will be “up” for these games, simply because of the name change from the Cook Cup to the Ella Whoever Cup.
The only stats I trust when it comes to the upcoming Test series
Hoghlight reels mean nothing !
