I thought Tuttle showed promise early on in his regular stint in the starting 9, consistency could be better but he is only 20.

They have Moses Sorovi on the books as well who is young as well, he has a bright future and was very very good for UQ on the weekend against sunnybank.

With 3 young halves on the books there was simply just no room for Genia. Would love to be a fly on the wall when Stirzacker was told of Genia signing.

Will Genia signs on with Australian rugby until 2019

Great write up Brett. I like your thinking with Moore, although he is the current wallaby skipper I hold hope that Ready sees a lot of minutes this season.

Looking forward to Friday!

Super Rugby preview: Reds No.1, with Cooper the key

Any feedback on how jake gordon went? very interested to see if his NRC form can translate to the next level

Super Rugby preview: Tahs second best, but it's Foley's call

I agree Dan, if Lolohea comes onto the market I think they need to go after him hard.

I think they’ll win a couple more this year, the experience some of those young kids got last year in those tight loses will be invaluable, particularly that game in Canberra where they let a massive lead go and lost in golden point.

Are the Knights gone for 2017 without Mullen?

At least they have a few young players coming through. Brock lamb looked like he had potential before he got injured last year. I’d give him first crack, then there is Jack Cogger and Jalen Feeney and Kostjayson can move into 5/8 if they need as well. They have stock at hooker with Levi and Randell. All of these young guys will benefit from another year in first grade

I hope the Steelers plan on scoring a touchdown or two this weekend if they plan to get past the Patriots. I don’t think the ‘chip away up the field and kick a field goal’ approach will work this weekend.

In saying that I hope they do get the win.
