From what I observed of Mlb Cty on Friday night they’re false favourites for the title, Mlb Cty huffed and puffed with their star players only largely to be equalled in what could’ve been a draw by the lesser knows from Brisbane Roar ..

In watching the Syd derby its unusual watching football with quick 30 second commercials, bit weird ..

I enjoy watching football from Perth, I have no idea why I live on the central coast . Its nice to see the Mariners take bragging rights in the local derby (admittedly it could’ve been a draw between the Jets) .

I hope paramount sought out there teething problems I must admit they didn’t affect me or my broadcast only the audio was a bit weird at times .

The A-League Men's teething problems are nothing that can't be fixed

G day Lads and Ladettes . I’ve just signed up for Paramount plus cant wait for tonight .

Simon Hill joins our panel: The Roar's A-League tips and predictions, Round 1

I’m a white Australian male in his 50’s the socceroos represent Australia’s ethnic diversity unlike the wallabies, kangaroos or the cricket team which are predominately associated with white Australia .

Due to the socceroos I believe I have a greater tolerance of different cultures within society, its great to follow a sport that just doesn’t associate itself with white Australia and people like Ray Hadley ..

Nice read Stuart .

The Socceroos – Australia’s perfect yet somewhat incomplete metaphor

Its about time this changed not one Maori follows their national football team I wonder why, this sporting team is completely ostracised from the rest of New Zealand sport because of that nickname .

Hopefully it changes soon .

All Whites nickname under review as NZ Football reflects on 'cultural inclusivity'

I must admit it was beautiful ball control by the Spanish last night nearly every pass held pin point accuracy by them although most of all their possession led to powder puff shots held well by our Melbourne based keeper .
It must be mentioned that we did get 1 shot off on target so they couldn’t completely prevent us .
In watching that match last night unless I was watching something else they should’ve beaten us by 2-3 clear goals ,our boys were brave though gutted .
The real metal test now comes for the Olyroos with Egypt a draw is good enough to advance out of the group , I hope the boys are up for it they worked very hard in defence last night ..
Good to see the Matildas getting back to somewhere near decent form too .
Cheers Mike …

Huge effort, but there was no real Plan B against Spain's A-Team

It was difficult to watch this as a Mariners fan Adelaide scored three goals none of them from open play , I just wonder if those three points that Adelaide stole will come back to haunt them .

I’m very confident for the rest of the season from what I’ve seen of the league this season, Brisbane appear to be our only rivals for the title.

VAR blunders produce yet another A-League comedy act

Its a shame I would’ve liked to have seen Ange do another term as National Team Manager ..

Is simulation at odds with Australian values?

Would it be fair to say that some would see it as other sports (you know the ones) dont have a culture, there’s just nothing in them ? . .

This siege mentality against football MUST end

” Police Association NSW president Scott Weber labelled Western Sydney Wanderers fans ‘grubs’. ” . Very irresponsible comments there he’s set respect for authority and Police in general back 30 years in Sydney’s West .

Its amazing how football is allowed to set up with a Club in a region it goes well for the first year and then authorities start clamping down on them would it be to obvious if they started clamping down straight away ? . If Police clamped down straight away it would just simply be to obvious so they wait …

This siege mentality against football MUST end

Interesting I remember Midfielder about a year or two ago would write articles about tv broadcast guestimates financially, a bloke called ” The Cattery ” would argue vociferously for days on individual articles about to the cent not dollar of how much would or wouldn’t be acquired . Gee your posts are eerily similar to his Mr F …

Optus, the new player in Australia's sports media rights battle

Fuss

That’s great value $17 a month and remember nobody here pays $50 a month for cable we’ve all been on it to long that $ 50 for first timers not long standing subscribers who would be paying either $60 or $90 or more a month .

Wanderers hire former Barcelona youth coach

Its an interesting little bite these Clubs take in with the ” new year kit ” hopefully more money/revenue will arrive, where realistically they’re re hashing the kit they wore five years ago , Arsenal did pretty much the exact same thing last night in Singapore then went onto to a 4-0 routing of a Singaporean Invitational 11 …
