Bonza was forced to follow Cronulla since childhood and fortunately suffers from selective memory loss. Last Origin recollection is the Bryan Fletcher hand grenade celebration.

De Bellin has a new lease of life and Su’a best I’ve seen him

'Complete performance' sees Dragons stun Warriors - and Lomax rocket into Origin contention

Get the impression he’s got a good spray in him, but also motivates.

He’s a good un, Flanagan.
Sets standards but yes, also manages personalities. 2016 Sharks had more than a few huge egos but he got the best out of each them.

A massive chance.
Mr Cranky to get crankier

Old mate Robbo might want to have a look at his slow, sluggish backline and start looking hard at big changes.
He’s got a rapidly greying Jennings in the centres, a man who was certainly fast – way before TikTok became a thing.
Teddy is now having trouble staying on his feet, Keary’s run out of ideas and everyone’s running into each other.
Otherwise, fine.

'Both were really clear': Roosters in a rage over ref's contentious calls as Storm win on the back of two dubious tries

Fair point. Maybe scrap the video, lazy defenders and O’Brien form a circle and then kick the person in front up the backside.

'Embarrassing': Joey fumes over Knights keeping injured Ponga on the park as Roosters rally to win nail-biter

A word of advice to Elliot, Lucas and a Saif – get to the video session early, grab a seat at the back and keep your head down.
Smith waltzing through them to score was a soft try in the the Under 7s and O’Brien will be understandably ask “What the F was that?”

Jennings’ ex might’ve been watching hoping he got whacked and Mann (I think) got him a beauty.

Nice update on the profile with Big Tom btw

The Roar's NRL expert tips and predictions: Round 6 - battle for Brisbane, Roosters written off, will Demetriou survive?

Yep, hard to pick most of these.
Manu, Smith, Keary etc should do it for Chooks, but then again it mightn’t.
Broncos should have enough class, but the Old Man will have Dolphins foaming at the mouth.
And against maligned Souths is exactly the kind of game the Sharks lose.

Can’t wait!

Guffaw!

NRL Round 6 Team Lists: Cleary suffers setback, Walsh return confirmed but Riki under cloud, Big Phin out

The Blues to go with 6 fullbacks, Cleary and 6 props

I trust and hope Madge has put a line through Mitchell and is now praying for Turbo and one other to stay healthy.

NRL News: Wighton says 'sorry' Latrell has burning desire after Gus raises retirement call, Annesley refutes hip-drop critics

Personally would like to see Big Tom Hazelton intercept a Cleary pass in the 79th minute of the GF and run 90 metres to win it 40 – 36, but your logic is hard to argue with.
Have to agree.

Storm warning: We’re sleeping on Melbourne again – they might be the biggest threat to the Panthers

You’re welcome, Bellyache

Storm warning: We’re sleeping on Melbourne again – they might be the biggest threat to the Panthers

Aside from their peach of a spine, the outside backs are lacking a bit of zip for mine, with the exception of Coates. The pack also needs more strike players and good old fashioned Alpha males.
Broncos bombed at least 2 tries – Cobbo should’ve backed himself – and at this stage are the most likely to challenge Penrith.
In my humble opinion

Storm warning: We’re sleeping on Melbourne again – they might be the biggest threat to the Panthers

Massively unlikely.
Jetstar has become like the Greyhounds in North America, that are only used by drunks, psychos and those just out of the clink.

NRL Round 1 Talking Points: A full week is done and dusted - let’s all overreact together

On a completely trivial note – was watching Dragons vs Titans on Fox and when someone dropped the ball, Blocker observed that “it must be humid up there”.
Surely they’re not still calling games from studios, with crowd noise mixed in?
If so, Fox can’t even fork out for a dodgy Jetstar flight with airport hotel thrown in?

NRL Round 1 Talking Points: A full week is done and dusted - let’s all overreact together

Flangan’s influence already clear – Dragons look fitter and hungry.
Telling Lomax “You’re on the wing son” could be the best thing to happen to Zaccy boy.
Titans missing some big guns but woeful in attack. Des won’t cop that and I’d be nervous going to training tmrrw. He may schedule a Sunday arvo training.

Flanno trumps Des as Sloan fires Dragons to statement win over Titans

Was thinking the same thing about Lomax. After kicking stones this could ironically be the year when he fulfils his potential – on the wing.

Hynes seemed particularly hellbent on making his one-on-one tackles.

Waiting to see when Fitzy decides to unleash young Kiwi prop Tuku Hau Tapuha.
He brings 196 cm that we could use in the middle.

Sure is.
I was rewatching his try imagining him in a Sharks jersey. Fifita-esque

One of our better season openers since I can’t remember when.
Defence on the edges had been a huge concern of late but we held them out and forced them back infield.
Sharks have been written off because of no alpha male props, but if we can put out a mobile and hard-tackling forward pack we just might be in with a chance this year.

He must’ve stuck with Hastings/Gamble as loyalty to last year.
