This season The real reason Rudan has come unstuck is Borello, Borello was outstanding last season particularly his work rate, non stop runs and pressing. 13 goals vs 1 goal albeit with less game time and a worse supporting team. The main advantage they have this season is Ninkovic getting less game time.
Wellington Phoenix they had a lot of luck this season, the one time they tried to dominate possesion was against Newcastle and look what happened. Mariners are not that much better than the Phoenix yet these two teams sit on top of the table. The only reason the only rugby union team, in the whole of the city would be playing there is they are desperate to lower costs and can no longer afford AAMI rent. Why dont they just do what the AFL have done in other states and not pay it.
