The evidence seems to be the pathways are definetly not working at non A-league NPL clubs.
The NPL clubs are being shown for what they are bottom feeders off rich parents and producing little.
The rego fee junkies have been the clear cause of sabotage to the Australian national team in the interesting of paying senior players to win state titles should have nothing to do with youth development.

Youngest ever Australia Cup scorer, another electric talent from Adelaide, and sons of Socceroos: Meet the future of Australian football

Its clearly a case of Adelaide getting favourable and unfair treatment to the rest of the A-league.
When City got the ref to win them the comp, Sydney FC got the blame with the nutter coalition and it seems the same is happening now and this is more east coast bias against Adelaide.

A-League clubs air grievances after Nestory Irankunda's shock snubbing of Olyroos duty

Some extremely interesting revelations as to how City were building a new academy at Casey and no one knew about it.
The Australian media there is no mouthpiece more interested in telling the world about every development the NRL and AFL are getting, less interested in telling the world how much of the taxpayers money has been put in it and that these facilities are given to them for peppercorn rents and they dont even have to pay for the maintenance.
Why have they hidden this story, its only the council and A-league website.

Western United's football-specific facility is a milestone worth celebrating

Wellington to park the bus is the one certainty , they will probably scramble to a 1-0 victory with a goal on the counter.
Macarthur Davilla has been suspended, you would think Adelaide are in the box seat, Macarthur could easily turn a suprise or not bother I am guessing the later. Adealide 5-2.
Western United CCM , I am predicting an upset , I suspect Aloisi is backing Wellington, 2-1 victory to Western United and a volatile match.
Zadkvich will be desperate his team will be so and so and the Jets will be awful. So 2-0 to Brisbane.
Sydney to win the derby 3-0. I think Rudan will have some excuse lined up as well.
Perth I think will be in holiday mode, City will take advantage of that.
Aloisi after doing over CCM then will probably do the reverse against Adelaide bend over. 4-1 win to Adelaide.

The Roar's A-League Men tips and predictions: Round 24 - Sydney Derby takes centre stage and urgency for finals hopefuls

This is where the A-league under Lowy had the best structure.
That 165 million euro debt would be wiped out and the club would go on.

From Champions League regulars to potential amateurs: The dramatic fall of German giant FC Schalke 04

The first half the Matildas struggled against a physical Mexican outfit who were tightly marking them. The possesion they had a lot was held by the center backs who were allowed to keep the ball at times while everyone else was tightly marked. The Mexicans worked hard on making sure the wide players were tightly marked.
Caitlin Foord managed to score and help set up a goal from only a handful of times she got the better of the defence, the rest of the time the MExicans got the ball off her. Raso and Fowler managed even less, but Raso did score the goal. Heyman held the ball up well but never got the ball facing goal.
Torpey did well playing out of position at right back.
The second half the Mexicans did get tired and it opened up, I would have preferred to see Heyman stay on.
Catley at center back did well, Polkinghorne looked slow when she came on.
The thing that worried me is playing out from the back . They really are setting up for failure if the tactic is you give Cooney Cross the ball in the area and have her try to dribble past the defence.

Caitlin to the fore as Matildas build impressive wall to shut out Mexico

City football group have just blown the Western United group out of the water with the completion of their new Academy at Casey.
I thought they were just based there for the women but it will now be everyone.
The specs are 5900 sqm , 16 change rooms, theater, two pools at 40m cost.
They have their own mini ground which they will use for the W-league games as well which is the same as Tarneit without the temporary seating.
So they spent 15m at Latrobe on their original and now they have abandoned that for this.

Western United's football-specific facility is a milestone worth celebrating

??????????
You cant use overage players in qualifying.

Irankunda sensationally turns down Olyroos spot in baffling update - and Vidmar left in lurch on eve of qualifying

Melbourne Storm have cut into their crowds will all their free tickets.
A move to Tarneit would be like Roar to Redcliffe, lowers the cost with half the crowd.

Watching the highlights of Osijek Rudens match, the goals were scored off set pieces, they were both great headers, the second one particularly was scored from nearer the top of the area and hit with power right into the corner. Most of the highlights were the opposition attacking though, and Mrcela on their first goal he turns his back as he goes to block the shot. I dont know why Mrcela money moves to India and Uzbekistan fell through, maybe he left because he didnt like it or they got rid of him, if it was the later he probably wishes he did this over there instead of in his fall back option. Karacic I didnt know he moved back to Croatia as well.
Tyrone Francois he is quite a special player , he is a deep lying playmaker, you could compare him to Kilkenny ,Brattan and a bit towards Zelic Mooy and the passes he was making in the youth teams were suprising for his age, he is more athletic than those two the question is his defensive side, less interested in ball winning, tackling, tracking runners and covering for fullbacks. That he has gotten two yellow cards in matches really might be a good sign in his case.

Goals galore, relegation battles and rising talent: Australian players around the globe Team of the week

The real story is he is needed to save Vearts job.
Vidmars have always been dodgy.

Irankunda sensationally turns down Olyroos spot in baffling update - and Vidmar left in lurch on eve of qualifying

Everyone knows Roar was McLarens break out club so he was the cheapest of the lot these excuses are ridiculous..
No players have ever been bought by Roar as well if you talk about paying transfer fees.
What about Massimo Macarone he was in Serie A, does anyone believe this guy went all the way to Australia for chump change.
Eric Bauthec was a Ligue 1 player before he came to Roar he would have been on decent money.
What about Avram Papodopoulos he would not have been cheap either.
Aloisi did Roar like a pork chop spent big money got sacked and got a pay out.

Western United's football-specific facility is a milestone worth celebrating

Rugby League has never built or paid for anything for so many years.
They are turning into spongers like the AFL more like it.
Football City paid for their training base, and Western United have their complex, thats the only non tax payer funded projects in sport for the last 10 years.

Western United's football-specific facility is a milestone worth celebrating

Piscopo over Clayton Taylor who had a hand in both goals.
Taggart started very well but some pieces of selfish play in particular detracted from his performance, particularly not passing it to Kamau when he was in on goal with an overlapping run. I would give it to Bennie instead.

Stoppage-time heroes and back-heel magicians: The A-League players who were the difference in Round 23

Cancar is hardly the worst case of acting recently, he got a decent knock to the jaw, and put sauce on it what about those with no significant contact.
The Mariners Tapp did a Rivaldo recently that was quite shameless with a very slight meeting of heads. What about last season and the red card to Morsche when he poked Wooton in the nose and Wooton did the acting job of the century. Mariners have not only completely changed their character under Mark Jackson the refs that absolutely gave them hell the last 3 seasons , Shaun Evans referee all time performance, Mauk triple penalties for diving and this season they have been on their side.

Simulation crackdown: If they like the spotlight so much, put A-League actors up before the Match Review Panel

Cancar was poking his head out to get in Maks face, Mak had a reasonable expectation that once he turned around, that Cancar would stop following him as closely with his head, so had no idea he was going to hit Cancar when he did the gesture. A normal person would have flinched when they saw the arm coming, and moved their head away. You have to give credit to Cancar for keeping his head there and not dodging it, plus not only goes down he added extra theatrics with his legs. Do I approve of it , no but if it won Australia a world cup I would look sidewise at least, and he got three points for the Jets with that.

Western United's football-specific facility is a milestone worth celebrating

Western United in the long term are a guaranteed winner demographics wise.
MAcarthur is 60km from the CBD, its bordered by Holsworthy army base on one side. Population growth is occuring around Leppington which is still a fair distance from their.

Western United's football-specific facility is a milestone worth celebrating

Which annual reports name the clubs?
Brisbane rent their pokies palace and even rent their poker machines.
Annual reports are very non specific you need to know how to read between the lines.
Your not going to find in any rugby league clubs reports pokie palace payment either.
Perth and Adelaide clubs charges for the stadium are then given to the local state AFL its not rent if it doesnt go to the owner of the stadium the government.
Golf Coast Suns their new naming rights deal how much is that worth to them, even the Giants get cut of the naming rights deal though in a strange twist the Sydney Thunder get a cut probably because it was never included in their lease deal which would be with the Olympic authority I presume.

Western United's football-specific facility is a milestone worth celebrating

Its the training ground, with temporary seating its more than adequate for their crowds at the moment, I think this Western United group needs to concentrate on bringing in some money with housing they can sell first before they think about spending money on the stadium because they dont need it for the next 10 years.

Mariners close in on premiership, derby delight for Victory, Irankunda omitted from Olyroos

Rudan could have had success last season, he had some great players at the end of the previous season for some reason he became obsessed with Ninkovic while freezing out Antonis who is a lot better player at the moment. Its not like Vidmar has overplayed Antonis but he has at least made it on the field, you could argue Antonis if he played last year that could have been a title winning team. This season The real reason Rudan has come unstuck is Borello, Borello was outstanding last season particularly his work rate, non stop runs and pressing. 13 goals vs 1 goal albeit with less game time and a worse supporting team. The main advantage they have this season is Ninkovic getting less game time.
Wellington Phoenix they had a lot of luck this season, the one time they tried to dominate possesion was against Newcastle and look what happened. Mariners are not that much better than the Phoenix yet these two teams sit on top of the table. Sydney FC showed up the Mariners, the rest of the teams seem to take it easy against them and the refs have helped them out heaps.

Mariners close in on premiership, derby delight for Victory, Irankunda omitted from Olyroos

Western United in 50 years time will have 1 million people more in the west of Melbourne, including all around the ground and build a decent following. The are going to be 900 dwellings just on the site, a railway station as well. At the moment the population West of the city is relatively close to the city and it spreads to the South East .
The only reason the only rugby union team, in the whole of the city would be playing there is they are desperate to lower costs and can no longer afford AAMI rent. Why dont they just do what the AFL have done in other states and not pay it.
Surface wise it would benefit the other two A-league teams at AAMI.

Western United's football-specific facility is a milestone worth celebrating

What Ange is referring to thinking you can just spend your way to success with a squad by buying any player and its rather suprising that the person who continually wants Brisbane Roar to spend on players quotes this. Buy an experienced striker in almost every post, despite having three complete dud experience strikers in the squad in seasons previously.

Western United's football-specific facility is a milestone worth celebrating

Its is by Mariners standards take out New Years Eve where they had the fireworks the next biggest is Sydney FC where you have a lot more Sydney FC fans.

The Roar's A-League Men tips and predictions: Round 23
