Manuka would definitely need a bit of work done, assuming it would be the home ground for the team. Very interested to see where the league would choose to go for a 20th team though. Really not sure which option I’d like most as a Victorian with no bias in the situation.

Canberra is the most logical option for the 20th AFL team

While I did exclude the rookie draft from the list on purpose, I do agree in hindsight that I could’ve mentioned those players somewhere. The first four you mentioned in particular have all been great for many years. Sam Frost was selected in that rookie draft as well, although he might not be classed in the same bracket as those four. Thanks for the feedback 👍

Re-ranking the 2011 AFL draft, ten years on

Great effort to get these together each day mate. Well done 👍

AFL top 100: Nicknames 10 to 1

I’d give Nic Newman the run out ahead of Lewis Young for round 1 in that pocket. In saying that, if Jonesy stands his ground, I wouldn’t be surprised if Young gets that spot and they both play.

Carlton in 2022: A mystery wrapped in a riddle

Although in saying this, Jack Macrae was still hard done by. So who knows…

The best Brownlow count in years... shame thousands couldn't see it thanks to streaming debacle

I agree, it’s definitely a case of who they see with the ball in hand most often, rather than who is actually impacting the result. Guys like May and Weitering were sometimes the difference between winning and losing for their sides and it puzzles me that they only ended up with 1 vote each. Aliir polled a little bit better with 7 but I think the point still stands that these players don’t get the credit they deserve in this system

That’s a fair observation. Libba is a great ball winner, however there is also an argument that he is most suited to go to someone like Clayton Oliver and shut down his output. Thankfully for the Dogs they have some great midfield options so it’ll be interesting to see how they line up on the day.

The three ways the Demons or the Bulldogs can win the flag

Thanks for the feedback Peter, it’s definitely going to be a great contest.

I do agree that May won’t outmark Naughton necessarily, however I do believe May can make this more difficult for him and that he can at least lower Naughton’s impact in that area of the game.

The three ways the Demons or the Bulldogs can win the flag

Unfortunately not. I definitely would love to support either of these teams right now though. Grand final is going to be a good one.
