I never said he played well for eighty minutes. The point I was trying to make is that without that 20 minute burst from Cleary, Penrith would most certainly have lost.
I’m more inclined to praise the godly 20 minutes than pour cold water on the other 60, in which he actually wasn’t ordinary at all from memory.

I think the tone was pretty clearly tongue in cheek. For the record, the comparison was intended to highlight the similarities of the situations faced by Hitler as leader of Nazi Germany, and Seibold as leader of the Broncos.
The quote implied that Seibold decided to leave the Broncos. My point was that, like Hitler retiring permanently to his bunker, Seibold had no choice.
Regardless, the fact that you chose to read “Seibold is Hitler” is ridiculous.
