My sonwho plays Q Cup with Redcliffe

I thought they might change the offside on the bomb, currently if your in front of the kicker and inside the 10 metres it’s a penalty where the ball is caught or dropped, I would like to see the penalty taken back to where the kicker kicked the ball, like the kicking out on the full, the defending team get no reward except for the free kick where most teams only get 10 to 15 meters.

Don't call them rule changes but NRL makes major 'amendments' to offside, Bunker and concussion protocols

Munster was lucky Martin didn’t stay down but he has a history of putting the boot in when he gets frustrated and he should have been suspended so as to send a message to mothers that it’s not ok to kick anyone on the footy field or in life.

Six talking points from State of Origin Game 1

Of course he shouldn’t be suspended, he has history for putting the boot in, sent of in the final minutes of a Grand Final for kicking an opponent, not a good look to mothers who’s children play the game but no matter when the officials say the game will be officiated the same as NRL games they are telling lies.

Should Cam Munster have been suspended for this apparent cheap shot?

I reckon once Rugby League stopped playing on the SCG, the wicket slowly stopped spinning, the quagmire between the two twenty yard lines every season must have done something to the Bulli soil so maybe we go back to proper scrums & the Roosters & their opponents can create the same scenario.

Australia sucked in by myth of spin friendly SCG

Looks like your analysis was wrong.

Lightning strikes twice in the desert: Why Andy Ruiz Jr will beat Anthony Joshua again

He’s been around long enough in Sydney to know what he is in for, he’s been hardened by those Victorian racing Authorities, so he should handle the what comes his way.

Peter V’landys accepts brief to fix everything by last week

Meninga should be sacked, he has been paid to be the full time coach & oversee the other Australian representative teams & he has been working for Foxsports & the Titans, in fact he has been working full time for the Titans during their crisis instead of concentrating on the Kangaroo, okay it’s the ARLC’s blame as well because they have let him be employed by the Titans & Foxsports, now after this embarrassing loss to a 2 Tier Nation he should go.

Defeat to Tonga proves the Kangaroos need more Tests

Canberra will get a fine for no HIA on Hodgson, doesn’t do Souths any good, could have cost them the game but the last 10 minutes cost them, their right side attack was stifled by too many short passes to the edge forward & not to their backs.

Six talking points from Canberra Raiders vs South Sydney Rabbitohs NRL preliminary final

People seem to be forgetting that Souths lost a winger in the 56th minute & then their fullback a couple of minutes later, they had to throw in a couple of forwards & shift players to other positions for that last 20 minutes, then the last 3 minutes they had no one on the bench so to beat Manly was a gutsy effort, Canberra should be very wary, this will be a top game.

Rabbit raid? Why Wayne’s Bunnies are the perfect party poopers

Scott, no mention that Souths played with adversity, 3 players off with HIA’s, forwards having to play in the backline, then with a few minutes to go there was only 1 player on the bench, but he couldn’t go back on the field because he hadn’t finished his HIA, that was one gutsy win.

Six talking points from South Sydney Rabbitohs vs Manly Sea Eagles NRL semi-final

The Barry, if Moylan was so badly concussed how did he get up & pass the on field test by the trainer, then set up a try, he didn’t stagger all over the place also they waited 10 minutes to get the footage, then took him off & he passed the concussion test & they put him back on so did he receive another head knock during the game.

Why Burgess escaping suspension is a disgraceful mistake

Burgess got what he deserved, a fine, if the tackle was so bad then how did Moylan jump up, pass the onfield check by the trainer & then set up a try minutes later if he was so badly concussed, all you Burgess haters would love him in your team.

Debate rages as Sam Burgess successful at NRL judiciary

Why did they leave Mitchell Starc out, looked to me that they needed his left arm swing & pace, I found the decision to leave him out extraordinary.

Gritty Rory Burns ton grinds down Australia

The thing I found most strange was the Titans picking Jarod Wallace at lock, too big, too slow, the lock poison is doing a full circle, back to the days of Raper, Ronnie Coote.

The transformation of the lock forward

My love of Rugby League started in Lae in New Guinea in the mid 50’s, my Dad would take me down to the footy to watch the likes of Barry Orchard & Marmaduke Davora & other names I can’t remember play, when my parents came down on their leave, I remember the talk on Sundays at lunch as my Grandfather & uncle were Souths fans & my other uncle was a St George fan & my Dad was a Berries fan, I was too young then to know that my grandfathers first cousin was the great Herb Gilbert but that story came later in life, I didn’t start playing til I went to boarding school at 12, I played all the way through school, then played 1 year with Centrals in Townsville before I went back to PNG & playing for a couple of years.
I was already a Souths fan but I spent 1 year in school in Sydney & of course was at the 1967 Grand Final but I do have a soft spot for St George as my step grandad, Arthur Gore played for them in the early years of their entrance to the NSWRL.
My son has played since Under 7’s, made the first Broncos U20’s team, played Queensland Cup for Redcliffe moved to East Tigers, lost 5 Grand Finals, played over 200 games & due to work commitments this year has dropped down to Reserve grade, his son is now playing in the Under 6’s & so the story of Rugby League continues.

Dear rugby league

Seibold did a good job with Souths left side attack last year, he had variations inside the structure or maybe it was just Walker & Sutton made the variations.

Broncos may have let go the wrong quietly spoken old man

For how many years have we heard the refs call “don’t play it on him”, I have always wondered what our man with the whistle would do if the player played the ball on the defender, well last night we found out, Smith plays the ball on the defender & gets a penalty, which of course it should be but all through that game players were laying in the ruck & not penalised.
I’m afraid that our refs don’t know the rules of the game, Smith Tackles the defender twice at the end of the game & was not penalised, why because they have been told not to.

Cameron Smith gently whispers the Storm to victory against the Roosters

2 non centres & Sims, that’ll do me, I was afraid they may pick Lodge who always goes missing in the big games.

Shock as 'world's best' Mitchell axed for Origin 2

Who really cares what Rothfield & Kent think of the game, they are journos who make a living off the game , us fans are the ones who count, we pay the money for entry in to games, we pay the money for cable TV & newspapers, they pay for nothing, not a penny, they don’t listen to the fans, they print & expound their own drivel, they criticise social media but let’s face it, social media is the only the fans can have a “right of reply” to their media rants.

There's been a shift in footy media for the better

That’s a new one, blame the tackled player, priceless.

LISTEN: It's time for another penalty crackdown in the NRL

Your write up on the game is really good, the Courier Mail write was all about Brett Morris, so if you didn’t have Foxsports you would be looking elsewhere to read about the game.

Roosters reign supreme in World Club Challenge

You must be kidding with McCullough, there are better no.9’s running around in the Qld Intrustsuper Cup, 2 of them played in the Grand Final last year.

The Roar's top 50 NRL players: 40-31

The PNG Hunters pay for everything in the Intrustsuper Cup & the Fiji Rugby league will have to do the same in the NSW Intrustsuper Cup.

How many rugby league clubs can fill a stadium with just their own fans?

Has Weir admitted to using the jiggers, has there been any footage of him using them, he has admitted to having them in his possession, maybe something will come out later on, so until such time as they have proof he used them on his horses any person’s accusing him of animal cruelty had better be careful.

Will there be a way back for Darren Weir?

Rugby League will never become irrelevant in this country, whilst it doesn’t get the crowds attending games, except for Suncorp, the TV audience is right up there with the AFL.

Two codes a world apart
