It’s an emotional sport & even a family man can make poor decision’s. Chris it’s always been a reactive sport based on awareness & a cunning nature but now as players the correction of playing the ball & not the man could prove disastrous in a collision sport. Incidents will occur cause of the speed of our game. Collateral damage will cost a player weeks & months by our preemptive nature of our game. The AFL & people may think this will work but as we have discussed the speed of our game should be open for discussion.

Most likely Chris & the majority of players are listening but the need for huge suspensions is not to similar to when we were kids & the teacher would tell the disruptive kid to go to the naughty corner.

I guess l’m an old dinosaur but yea for the future fair enough. Mothers will fight the good fight & sway the kids to avoid contact sports & it’s definitely a huge concern for the AFL. Image is the priority & head knocks is paramount.

7 weeks is a huge sentence. Seems to be out of control. AFL becoming emotionally invested in destroying the game.

Majority of senior coaches are forward thinkers & take constructive criticism. But they also are all inclined to believe in the list & entrust the group listen & follow instructions. Bevo is no different he’s just a wild onion at heart. We all have quirks & foibles let’s see how the season unfolds before we jump to any conclusions.

Blatant hits is fair enough & by the laws governed they will be punished. My issue is the accidental hits that cause bodily harm to the head & the interpretation based on the new rules will cause mixed messages for our elite athletes ‘playing the ball’
