I have gone for Port, but think Dogs can test them assuming the Bont is ok. I certainly want Dogs to win.

The Roar's AFL expert tips and predictions: Preliminary finals

The only relative weakness the Dees have is up forward, but they have enough good enough forwards to reap the rewards of much ball coming from the midfield and defence.

Sure, they are not unbeatable, but they have some incredible players that the top teams have struggled to tame.

TBH, apart from 20m in the Geelong match, the Dees looked the better team.

At Optus, i expect them to win much easier.

The Roar's AFL expert tips and predictions: Preliminary finals

really good article from a passionate Dees fan. I am really hoping they win for you and other Demons fans after such a long drought.

Melbourne flag favourites? Unprecedented times, indeed

I picked Dees to win the flag a long time ago, and have backed them to win all the big matches this year, only losing once to the Dogs.
Yes, they hardly dominated the Cats last time, but i will be very surprised if it is even close.
Dees by 30. Too short to back this week, so i will be watching

The Roar's AFL expert tips and predictions: Preliminary finals

I reckon the crowd tally is misleading. It should be the leader of the tipsters competition not some silly average.
Go Dees and Dogs.

Best of Days is at big odds for Feehan Stakes. Pretty weak field this year.

will be an exciting match. I do think this year’s flag will depend very much on Melbourne’s ability to dominate the middle, something that applies to any team’s chance of success.
I just think Melbourne is most likely to, as already proven in nearly all big matches this year.

'I don't think Melbourne are quaking in their boots': Talking points from Geelong's semi-final rebound

yes, maybe, but they play very slowly and need teams to show up with less intensity. I will very be surprised if they can beat Demons, Lions or Dogs.
Having said that, i was surprised they got so close to demons at kardinia park.

'I don't think Melbourne are quaking in their boots': Talking points from Geelong's semi-final rebound

170m? I think that is from fence to fence. there is no way that there is 10m from the square to the 50m line. Optus Oval is only 15m wider than crap field at Kardinia Park (130m to 115m).
MCG 160m long

'I don't think Melbourne are quaking in their boots': Talking points from Geelong's semi-final rebound

yes, cats are a top four side so anything can happen.

'I don't think Melbourne are quaking in their boots': Talking points from Geelong's semi-final rebound

I think Dogs, although a bit weaker than five weeks ago, can beat the Lions and be a match for Port.

I am hoping for Dees Dogs Grand final.

Not immensely big, but exceptionally skillful and gutsy.

come on, time to break the champagne out and start cheering and celebrating Toorak Cowboy style.

'I don't think Melbourne are quaking in their boots': Talking points from Geelong's semi-final rebound

could be, but I doubt it. Bigger ground will suit dees run out of defence and midfield dominance imo.
But u never know.
Go Dees.

I have to say Dixie, you are the most accountable tipster I have ever viewed. All tipsters should do what you do with your tips and returns. Even more impressive, is that you are well in front.

Sydney racing selections: Randwick tips for Saturday, September 4

I am really looking forward to watching dees v cats, and I hope demons beat them easily.
The cats are a boring side to watch, so GO DEES.
I do like watching Cameron though, a real superstar of the game.

Thanks for the mention Dixie. We know as gamblers how important luck is with our selections, and Cascadian was flattened.
Great to see good horses coming back.
I wonder what time rain hits Sydney?
I am looking forward to watching Nature Strip, and Cascadian against some other good horses She’s Ideel and Think It Over.
Good luck Dixie and punters.
